You probably thought that we ended up married, but the next job took me to the Detroit area, and by the time I got back, Gregory was besotted with a blonde from his company. Then I found out that he had gotten a second girl pregnant while I was gone and was seeing a third on the side.
Well, I had suspected this was going to happen, so I had charged him double. I was actually doing the job for Patience after the first week. After all, like ancestor, like descendant.
