Green Jean Humor: Volumes 31-34
May: Laws are wonderful!
Andrea: No way. Every law is a strike against humanity. Every law is an implicit statement that the system thinks we are incapable of self government.
Alice: Sister Andrea, you are way smart. I am very impressed. Let us both form an anti state alliance. Let us both vow to forever denounce statist worldviews.
Andrea: I am with you on that. I pledge to be loyal to anti-authoritarianism now and a long time down the road.
Angela: Hey everyone, I just wrote another poem.
May(muttering): great! I hate poems and your poems are the epitome of bad poems.
Alice: If she hates your poems, they must be good.
Andrea: Yeah, you're probably right.
GJH Volume 33 by Andrew Bushard
Part 3 of Rural Misfits
May: Awful Poem!
Angela: Why don't you ever give poetry a fair chance?
May: Poetry rarely serves our nation well.
Angela: Yes, granted poets are somewhat out of the mainstream by their very nature, but congress after all has a poet laureate.
May: I don't know. I don't know...
Angela: But I assume that most poets are deviant, but some are far less deviant than others
May: Yeah, that's it!
Angela: I recommend you try your hand at poetry, May!
May: Me? Never!
Angela: Why?
May: For one, I abhor poetry and poems
Angela: That is a sad spectacle.
May: That's the way I am!
Angela: How unfortunate, because art can save your soul!
May: Nationalism is the ticket to save a soul
Angela: Au contraire! Your passion is misplaced -- you ought to redirect it towards a creative craft like poetry.
May: I proclaim that poetry is the force which dampers your nationalistic spirit. The sun directs nationalism. Nationalism is the stars where limelight dawns on.
4:34 a.m. 2 days later
Angela: Glorious Day! I am in a poetry writing mood!
May: Squelch the mood. It's way too early!
Angela: I will never cancel a poetry mood. Conditioned so strong so hardcore is the desire to create. The nature and the whole wide world is my stimuli
May: The State is my stimuli
Angela: That is readily apparent!
May: Flag Good! Art bad!
Angela: Art decorates life. Art is beautiful. My being is intertwined with the artist wish. We artists are perceptive because creativity cultivates insight. The best way to learn about the world is to create. As one creates more, insights race! I love my fellow humans more since I begun the poet's life for I can see the way he and she ticks. Creativity and life cannot be separated, they are one of the same. To capitalize on my superbly bountiful poetic move, I shall compose a poem, entitled "Occasion".
Super fast
split second over it is
Our mind imagine slow as turtle
No
Onto different musings
Operated an opera oboe
Said Thad the angered angst vendor
He stood outside
White washing the already white washed walls
Thad couldn't sell worth much
Dimes could not find their way into desolate vacant pockets
Bonsai bulls eye malarkey
Thad is gone now
Do you want to, do you really want to hear where he went?
Ambitious, he was mountain high
Expectations he had
Blood at the end
Blood meets end and equals end
Thad's end
That's forlorn
Okay, be honest. No sugar coating, What did everyone think?
May: Terrible as usual.
Angela: Any other opinions?
May: Yeah, it's terrible!
Angela: Do you evaluate each poem or does your irrational distaste for me already cultivate a disapproved opinion? Writing poems enhances my health. Like food it is a crucial necessity for life. Life and creating are one of the same.
May: You are bogus. Respect the establishment more!
Angela: The establishment does not respect the values of creativity. Thus I do not respect it. Authoritarians have big problems, sister!
Alexa: I totally dig your spiel. If I were a Christian, I'd Shout "Halleluiah!" again and again.
Andrea: I dig it too! It does appear as if May here is the only really hostile one to your noble ways.
May: All of you cause me to become chagrined!
Alice: The State is the source of your frustration. It is running your life. It is ruining your life. Free yourself by declaring that the state may rule but you won't be a willing party.
Angela: You all rock dearly for your support. You all could crumble and fold to the regressive whim but you do not.
Alice: Sure, no problem! Anything for a fellow righteous sister!
Angela: I have an incredible new poem. Do you all want to hear it?
May: No Way! Never! Not here. Not over my dead body.
Andrea: We would be glad to hear it. Saturate us with eloquence.
Angela: Alright! I adore your passionate enthusiasm for my dearest love.
The Land
The Land is where it's at
Soulful sisters support
Something, dazzling in the Earth calls
It calls me to express my poetics
The sensation is too earth shattering to ignore
I admit no qualms
This is great!
It's wrong to deny the momentum power!
I will be one with the art
The art is responsible for all the beautiful
The art is superb
Andrea: Wow! Succinct and quite the impact!
May: I have some commentary of my own. Poetry is a futile weapon of the incompetent. It is the refuge of scoundrels , idiots and villains. It undermines our crucial fabric. Its aesthetic force is a farce. This is what Plato said. Plato was a genius in his aversion to poetry. The regulators are the truly wise ones.
Angela: To slander the poems is to disgrace existence itself Your state is a mere transitory flash in the pan while poetry is eternal.
May: The state is a wonderful gift from the state. It assists us to better serve the good old people in charge.
Angela: Hey audience - compose poetry, read poetry, become one with poetry and sell your television. Or better yet, recreate your television as smithereens.
May: Angela, in many ways, you are my arch nemesis.
Angela: I do not hate you as a person. I cannot! A passionate soul cannot hate any living beings. I do despise your focus and your motivation.
May: You desperately need rigorous guidelines to control your conduct and what better institution than our valiant government?
Alice: You got it all wrong! Government is the polar opposite of valiance. Government is the epitome of cowardice. People are too scared and insecure to rule themselves, thus they mandate government.
May: You all are 100% misled. I have the right. Follow me! Follow the state's way. The state knows most.
Andrea: I absolutely cannot follow the state. I know best for me. Empowering is this fact: Each of us knows best for ourselves, we need no authority. Authority forces us to devolve.
May: The other way around!
Alice: Try as you might. We are dogged in our ways. You may be dogged too. We won't be changed!
May: I won't be changed! I love the state.
Alice: Likewise, we love autonomy. How about you rule those like you who want to be ruled and let the rest of us be?
May: No! The state will rule you whether you like it or not. You are evil to attempt to discredit the state after all it has done for you.
/> Andrea: The state hasn't done anything for us. It has viciously tried to subdue our precious souls. Life is too valuable to be bound to the state. It is we freedom fighters who ultimately love life the most.
May: The state is salvation of humanity. Our exuberance is state produced.
Alice: Exuberance stems from whole hearted liberation not shackles. Shackled exuberance is an ultimate oxymoron.
May: Why do you assume the state shackles? The state is my lifeblood.
Alice: Shackles are an intrinsic component of the state. Innate in a state is oppression. Laws are coercion and dominance. Where there is such exuberance is severely hampered.
May: Quite the contrary
Andrea: You are in a state of rationalization for the state. Such a tactic is a farce and a folly. The state has scarred your existence thus you are attempting to run in endless circles alleviating your misery. Freedom of the spirit commences with the elimination of the state.
May: The state is the very building block of our souls. Without the state, we are lifeless, insignificant nothings.
Angela: Now seems to be quite the optimal time to read you all my newest poem:
many
Spirituality is many to many
Life concept is many to many
Love too many to many
Happiness many to many
Significance many to many
I have joy now
May: Joy is impossible without the direct intervention of the state.
Angela: Another poem, I got!
Weaponry
To combat falsehoods
To pierce through darkness
To salvage honest emancipation
To discover and convey benevolent meanings
To overrule misnomers of existence
The touch of art endures
Trying as a dogged artist does
The personality is static
If not merged with rigorous altruism
Andrea: Bravo!
Alice: Job Well Done!
Alexa: Yeah, I dig it, my wonderful captivating comrade.
Amanda: I got some deeply thinking arrive at thoughts for you all: Stewing in the juices of depravity spurs angst, sorrow, misery, scorn, malice, disputed vile recognition. Culturally, we are impure currently. Modern society simply places way too many restraints on our autonomy. Creativity is a beacon of a push for a liberated society. Let's imagine for imaginations of times past have become modern day's viable realizations. Dreams are the catalyst of change. Let's envision a movement, because movements are nothing, they are bare, if stripped of the envisioning process. Existence is exhilarating in our wild natural state. Cardboard is our modern state.
Angela: Put those words of yours to poetry!
Amanda: I express myself best straight. I cannot translate my thoughts into art well. I feel art inhibits the expression of my valuable ideas. Art is best for aesthetic purposes. In essence, it is not my cup of tea. It may be your cup of tea, but it does not work for me.
Angela: Okay, that's rad.
Amanda: Glad, it's rad.
Angela: I'm glad it's rad too
May: "Rad" is a word used by degenerates.
Alice: No Ma'am, "rad" is a word which unites the rebellious elements.
May: Rebellion is always bad.
Alice: No it is not.
May: You all are evil, because you criticize the government. Be obedient.
Angela: We need to build and cultivate alternatives to going nowhere paradigms. We need to build and cultivate a massive restructure of our most intrinsic mechanisms.
May: Quiet that babble! I hate poets. Poets are a disease
Angela: Poets provide the salvation of humanity. For right and left hand, for all.
Amanda: I see through the spacious skies and realized only a radical adjustment of current ways will promote growth and autonomy.
Alice: Yeah, autonomy -- the cliché, the final goal, the complete glory.
Andrea: Way Right on!
May: Wrong on!
Angela: The thorn in the side's cords of vocals vibrate in an abrasive caustic manner.
May: Shut up! Stop your worthless poetry.
Angela: Poetry is like my secular daily bread.
May: My heart rages with disgust for the environment
Angela: Let's use art to celebrate all the morality and beauty out there.
Alice: The state cringes at invention.
May: Yes, the state does. Invention is sour.
Angela: Let's celebrate art for the benefit of all.
Alice: I agree, art is beneficial to all. The participants, spectators and producers and those who come in contact with those who are the participants, spectators and producers of art.
Angela: You understand your art!
Alice: I am perturbed that they the fascists attempt to vilify art! They shall not succeed! They will not succeed! Art is worth much at even face value, but of course, it is extremely dynamic and has many levels and dimensions.
Angela: Now for my latest poem
Sparkle the stars
Shine the sun
Glow the moon
Twinkle the lightning bugs
Radiate the speeding comet
Flourish the human
Alice: I applaud your graceful talent. Your grace which relays the enrichment of existence enriches existence itself. In essence, art is a perpetually rejuvenating process.
Angela: Rad insight, my dear comrade!
May: Shift your paradigms. You are poisoned by the rebellious paradigms of radicalism.
Angela: Our paradigms are staying right where they are! We will hold on to our elegant truths as dogged as can be. A poet's duty is to paint pictures with words, to it all. Most of all a poet is the person of deepest passion. Poets analyze existence. Through a poet's intense introspection and synthesis of all that is life, we are in touch with all the redeeming nuances of life. To be a poet is to know oneself.
May: Rubbish! Rubbish! Fly the fag and one has salvation -- that's all there is to it and that's that.
Andrea: You are the epitome of closed mindedness. The flag is a disgraceful banner of oppression. How can you hail it? My soul cringes at the thought! My hope is that your flag decays since it stands for the utmost decadence. Retaliate if your flag commands you, but ma'am you are not liberated.
May: You make me want to spit!
Amanda: I imagine an ideal social organization will accommodate even those who turn bitter at thought of all the earth's emancipation. Perhaps, the answer for the time being is this: Go and oppress those who want to oppressed, but leave the autonomy lovers alone because the soon the magic of total peace will rule! We are going to totally smash any and all artificial boundaries. No longer shall humanity be divided by the petty.
Alice: Good point and thus we demonstrate how tolerant and loving we are.
Alexa: So, is what you folks are saying is we got to be kind to the bigots and ultimately kill them with kindness and wisdom.
Alice: Pretty much!
Alexa: So you feel society will change if we uphold these ideals?
Alice: Yup!
Alexa: We shall advance to that state then, right?
Amanda: Utilize the right hemisphere and dream way. Dreams are what we need now.
Angela: Yes! The right hemisphere sure does rock!
Alice: Here is a point to ponder -- to me it seems as if the right wingers are left brain dominant yet the left wingers are right brain dominant. Why is this?
Angela: While you all ponder that, I'll share my latest poem
Supremacy
Principle is supreme
Whims, rationalizations, hedonism all way less, all weigh less
Principle is supreme, everlasting
Hey, it's all important
Principle deserves dogged support
Alice: Your style is so jazzy. It's very personable yet infinitely s
timulating. You will be known for your poetry for years to come.
Amanda: Let us reflect on existence itself. Our species is dynamic -- all is possible. Let us all go around and share what we have done today to make the world a more utopian. What I did towards that end today was spread the spirit of harmony to ingenious primates. Everyone else, it's now your turn to share.
Alexa: I grinded out some rad chords on my instruments, therefore increasing the amount of pleasure in the world.
Alice: I disobeyed 45 different provincial ordinances
Samantha: I destroyed some private property.
May: I hate your sill dialogues. I will not partake!
Angela: I observed the glory of existence and further glorified existence itself.
Sandy: I contemplated a divine male
Andrea: I psychologically declared myself free from dictatorship.
Maxine: I burnt some disastrous articles of clothing. Clothing needs to become extinct, I say.
Amanda: Wow! That was fantastic! Sharing does wonders for the soul. Sharing is what will open the doors for the promised land to dawn. Let's share some more. What do you all think is the best way to achieve peace and prosperity for all on earth?
