  “My King, I’ve succeeded in creating your army of Sanguines, creatures of tainted blood. My experiment with the young Red Mages did not succeed as originally planned, but some use did come from it. I extracted enough pure heka to turn any being into Sanguine,” said Lord Xenon.

  “Very good… we leave for the attack on the morrow,” ordered the King of Burmeka. Xenon bowed and exited the Throne Room.

  Once in his living quarters, Xenon laughed sadistically, “This is so much more than the pointless war that wretched King has in mind! How could it have been this easy? But… it’s not done yet! The world will soon be at my mercy!”
