Under Suspicion - The Legend of D.B. Cooper

“I’m standing here at the city limits of Morton, Washington, where events which occurred almost three decades ago are being replayed as we speak. I’m talking, of course, about D.B Cooper, the slippery assailant that continues to elude authorities. With me tonight is Special Agent Alan Bradley of the Drug Enforcement Agency to give us an update. Agent Bradley, how close are you to capturing this clever felon.” Chet placed the microphone in front of Alan.

  “Unfortunately, Chet, the investigation is moving slower than expected.” Alan’s face was grim as he spoke.

  “How so?”

  “Well, although the Sheriff’s department is trying very hard, it appears that they are under staffed and aren’t well trained for this type of investigation. The investigation continues to progress, but not at the rate necessary to ensure success.”
