  “All right, all right,” Blair said, sitting up from his slouched position. “What’s up?”

  “We almost there. Calvin’s place. Here,” Horace said, holding up a bunch of things Blair had never seen before. “You gotta get ready now.”

  “Ready?”

  Horace looked at him impatiently and shook his head. “You done forgot the plan that fast? Dammit, Sheepskin!”

  After thinking for a moment, Blair nodded his head. He rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah,” he said, “I remember.”
