Evohn closed his eyes and searched for Rupra Bruda. A tik later he felt his presence in his mind.
“Evohn? Is that you,” Bruda asked.
“Yes. Everyone is asleep. We’re about to seize control of the plane.”
“Good. Where are you?”
“Fifty-one miles southeast of Pogo Island heading for Shini.”
“Really? You’re taking the long route. Why didn’t you go over the pole?”
“General Zitor said you would expect us to go that way and would likely ambush us.”
“Well, he was right about that except we don’t need to ambush you now.” He laughed.
“Right. So, where do you want me to take the prisoners?”
“Take them to Maramoor Air Base in Allso. You’ll get there before we can send a reception party, but I’ll contact the base commander and instruct him to put the prisoners in the detention center until they get there.”
“Thank you. Wish us luck taking control of the plane. If we don’t show up, you’ll know it didn’t go well.”
“May God be with you,” Bruda said.
Evohn severed the connection and turned to look at his sleeping passengers. He smiled and nodded to his men and everyone took their positions.
