The Solar Doctrine
attain victory, freedom and wisdom. Within the tragic thresholds between life and death this figure always emerges granting the hero the possibility of deeply understanding the meaning of his experience, his life and that of his fight… And it is in this sense that the Solar Warrior is an eminently savior figure that depending on the culture or age adopts the most varied forms. And the fact that this entity can be projected in multiple forms in the most diverse cultures of the past is related to the fact that, after such transcendental experiences, the hero who has contacted this power has to resort to his particular language or the means he has at reach in order to describe as accurately as he can this figure and what it entails for the human condition… Yet in this case, the Solar Warrior remained in the conflictive domain having more fixation and intensity than other moments of official history. On one hand the sovereign presence of the Solar Warrior aimed to honor the bravery of Arthur when boldly facing the SuperDragon by himself, “unplugged” from all assistances and technological/cybernetic means… But on the other hand there existed in 2014 a gigantic gap between the supernatural world -the domain where dwell divinities such as the Solar Warrior- and the human domain. This gap became abruptly wider since the sacrifice in the bonfire of Jacques de Molay, the Grand Master of the Knights Templar Order in Paris, exactly 700 years before, in 1314, and since then all religions, sciences, ideologies and spectacles have tried to fill the gap and vacuum the best they could in order to console the human condition in regards to its deep separation from the evolutionary powers of the cosmos. However, the huge dimension of such gap made it very difficult for a firm and lasting linkage to become established between the Solar Warrior and Arthur, in order for the latter to return from his near death experience with transcendental knowledge that could be practically applied in life, and not something that could be considered pure theory or abstract speculations.
Even though it wasn´t completely outrageous to think that the Solar Warrior could be treated by the history of religions, philosophy or science -since that was originally my aim for writing “The Solar Warrior” trilogy- actually the most important value of this divine entity appears when it is projected in weaponry configurations and battle or combat actions, always linked to the effective structures of power and dominion… And in the case of the hospital room where Arthur was, the effective structures of power and dominion corresponded to medical systems, techniques, technology and all the networks present, which not only efficiently channeled the energy, matter and information, but also efficiently channeled human beings themselves through various techniques and protocols. In other words: all this configuration was actually formed by the language and means of power existent effectively and practically in the year 2014, and thus the Solar Warrior could only be projected in such sophisticated domain, in order to allow Arthur to recognize the Solar Warrior entity in the heart of his direct experience.
So this entailed that in order to honor and assist Arthur in this situation, the Solar Warrior -being beyond time and space- could only succeed in establishing such contact by brilliantly manifesting in the immanent domain of technology. And it is at this point that I, the creator of Arthur´s legend and transmitter of the Doctrine comes into play, since it was part of my task to bridge the gap existent between the legend of Arthur and the technological means he has at his reach. Therefore, the Doctrine constituted for Arthur the bridge that would allow him in practical terms to keep up the link to the Solar Warrior inside of him, so that this way he could eventually gain the required formation in order to face the fearful SuperDragon and become free from the oppressive tentacles of the Techno-System.
Hence, the gap was finally bridged, and the cycle completed after 700 years, allowing the powerful light that was present when Arthur had faced the thresholds of death to be projected in the only weapon he had at his reach: his Iphone.
Though we must forgive our hero Arthur the fact that he could only conceive the Solar Warrior as the “Son Goku” character of the Japanese Dragon Ball Z anime cartoons, it was however totally praiseworthy that he had already experienced his crucial baptism of warrior fire initiation, returning from the ashes of the near death experience with a new flying start and intuitions. Such boldness, courage and bravery for having openly faced the SuperDragon would later have its deserved recompense, since Arthur had already got in contact with a millenary Doctrine, ultimately acquiring magical powers by using his Iphone, which as we know, was not a normal Iphone. Actually Arthur´s Iphone was to any other Iphone what the Excalibur sword was to any other ordinary sword…
Thus, our warrior Arthur already had everything that is required to be an aspirant to Solar Warrior: his magical weapon, his courage, and the knowledge of the timeless Doctrine. After his sudden experience in the afterlife, Arthur was ready and back to act in this life, ready to fight for freedom, truth and justice in the kingdom of men. Ready to defeat the fearful SuperDragon in the hellish depths of the universe.
Arthur was very determined to liberate the Temple, no matter what it took; to liberate it from his enemies, his usurpers, and all those who surrender to the misty and dark forces. Assisted by the Doctrine, by his nobility, by his courage and bold initiative, he carried the firm will of becoming one day a Knight Templar.
However, as one could already imagine, the apocalyptic battle and the liberation of the Temple in no way was going to be easy. And mostly because Arthur was going for the quest of the SuperDragon in a totally new domain that had no resemblance to any of the sceneries described in other quests or legends, like those for instance, of the Ragnarok described in the Eddas… Superb lost kingdoms, magnificent castles, and imperial battlefields all belonged to extraordinary domains already inexistent in the daily circumstances of the Mostoles neighborhood in Madrid… In truth, the battle of Arthur against Evil was going to take place in a domain quite less fantastic: a common hospital room of the Spanish public health system… So, due to his lack of experience, he inevitably made several mistakes, some noisier than others…
One of the most boisterous mistakes took place when our aspirant to knight-errant took too literally the idea exposed in the Doctrine that states that “the machines integrated within the Techno-System are part of the enemy”… So, having this fixed and dogmatic idea kept in mind, and imitating of course the daring attitude of Don Quixote, Arthur suddenly leaped from the bed, went towards the T.V. set and threw it down breaking it into pieces, while considering that he had won the first battle against the enemy… But immediately, five human incarnations who worked in the hospital center suddenly appeared in the room… For moments, Arthur could observe how behind their serpentine and reptilian figures appeared to be stalking the ominous SuperDragon, while these human incarnations shouted very angrily at Arthur for having broken the T.V set in such a fanatical way… One of the human incarnations who most preyed on Arthur was the so-called Dr. Ricardo del Valle, who had a sinister and terrifying aspect, apart from expelling a stinky scent through his mouth and each one of his pores. This man was the result of a horrifying incarnation of perverse, depraved, maleficent, almost criminal instincts, yet constituted the individual who was granted the greatest power and prestige in the medical environment. In addition, the SuperDragon had a special attachment towards this individual and followed him everywhere, yet whenever Dr. Ricardo applied upon himself the professional “I”, immediately the SuperDragon vanished again… Experiences such as these and others taught Arthur about the ephemeral, ubiquitous, teasing and subterranean character of the SuperDragon, and taught him that he had to keep his eyes wide open in order to hunt it and defeat it…
Another important aspect that Arthur learnt from these first experiences was the modus operandi of the Techno-System. Quite contrarily to the Quixote attacking the windmills, in the case of the broken T.V set, the latter had been substituted in a matter of few hours by a more developed and sophisticated T.V. set, as if nothing had happen and as if the attack of Arthur had been completely in vain, even giving the impression of
empowering the enemy more. Such process of technological regeneration allowed Arthur to see that any partial attack to the system was immediately compensated by a systematic process of development, which extended much beyond the room and embraced the planet as a whole…
During those times, the human incarnations tended to believe that it was they who, for instance, decided to put a new T.V set upon the shelves, but a wider view allowed the perception of how the television, obeying the Techno-System´s imperatives, itself used the workers and technicians of the hospital center to attain its own aim, as if the human being constituted a mere appendage or redundant factor in the whole process. It wasn´t actually true that the human incarnations dominated the objects, but that rather a huge planetary construct dominated the human incarnations as surprising it might be… This could be observed very clearly in the case of the supposedly “responsible use” of smartphones, where the idea of human responsibility became too diffuse and problematic, especially in the case of the countless traffic
