A mummers play,
The picture alone,
Tell different versions,
Maybe the ladies,
Are preparing stew for dinner.
NaPoWriMo #25: a poem that explores a small, defined space
I lost count on how many I had,
Ever since I was six maybe,
That is as far as I can remember,
When I started kindergarten,
Every year, my backpack would change,
And the books increased as well,
Getting heavier and heavier,
But the compartments lesser and lesser,
With only two compartments left,
The only kind of backpack I prefer,
I learned the art of arrangement,
Assortments of books and utilities,
I am slowly getting obsessed,
The largest at the back,
The smallest to the front,
Never ending space management,
Now, I just need a shoulder bag,
To fill my notebook, novels, umbrella and other stuff,
Inside this little space,
Where my obsession lies.
NaPoWriMo #26: exploring a particular object or place from the point of view of some far-off, future scientist
It wonders me,
Fascinate me,
Captured me,
Giving me a pure excitement,
A tool they invented,
With primitive resources,
With primitive methods,
But they are the pioneers,
They help humanity to strive,
With the growing sight problems,
They came out with something,
Called glasses,
To wear it every day – inconveniently,
Practical but not flawless,
A form of slowing down,
To the worst form,
If only they can see,
What we have achieved today,
Glasses are ancient technology,
Because we have enhanced sight.
NaPoWriMo #28: a poem using Skeltonic verse
Sleeping late,
Activity I hate,
Is this fate,
I have no date,
It is tiring,
Getting boring,
No time admiring,
What do tomorrow bring,
Please don’t sting,
I’m not to blame,
Do not flame,
It is just lame,
Not worth the fame.
NaPoWriMo #27: a poem that explores your sense of taste
The taste of sour,
It kills the taste bud for some,
Like buried alive.
NaPoWriMo #29: A new poem based on the solid words from your favourite poem with related adjectives (Honey)
Have you seen that yellowish substance,
One of many that last for thousand years,
Now medically proven,
Enjoyable sweetness that sparks your taste buds,
You can eat it with most food – such as pancakes.
NaPoWriMo #30: a poem about something that happens again and again
Imagine a view with sunrise,
The breath taking moment,
And the sky lighten up,
Announcing the start of the day,
Then imagine a view with sunset,
The capturing moment,
And the darken colored sky,
Whispering the start of the night,
Now imagine a birth,
The magical moment,
Of a soul brought life,
Sign of a journey,
Then imagine the death,
The goodbye moment,
Of a fleeting soul,
Welcomed to a different world,
And realized this simple fact,
We breathe in and breath out,
From the day we were born and die,
Through the night and day,
We breathe this simple air,
But living through all those unnoticed moments.
