Always Guided by Spirit
to have heard a voice in our head? Or think I'd better not tell anyone or they will lock me up. The voice in the head is so rare it cannot be considered to be schizophrenia or some such. Fear is what holds us back from receiving guidance. Fear plus disbelief. For one thing, who went to school and learned anything about this subject? Our left brain isn't so accepting to other senses beyond our five. Right brained people have it much easier.
If we face our fears and face our disbelief, we allow ourselves to receive and with that we begin to trust. The spiritual aspect of life is there if we but open ourselves and take the time to pursue it. So what if we are afraid? So what if we are afraid of failure? So what if we are afraid of ridicule? So what if we are afraid of making wrong choices? What will happen to us if that should happen? Do we fear fear itself? The part of us that fears needs to be examined and then taken over by the rational mind. We need to acknowledge that fear is a thought. We can change the thought. We can affirm the opposite.
When my young grandson felt afraid to go upstairs alone because once a bird or some fluttering in the window had scared him, I suggested he go up the stairs by himself saying over and over to himself, “I am safe. I am safe. I am safe.” It is helpful to reprogram ourself rather than let the fear have control over us and rule our life. We have to ask ourself what is the worst thing that could happen and then take it backwards with answers each time. If it's failure we are afraid of, what is the worst thing that will happen if we fail? Once an answer comes in, ask again what is then the worst thing and on and on. Going back like that can often get people to see the real fear if one goes back far enough. Usually it turns out to be of death and dying or of annihilation. No longer existing scares the heck out of people so I've been told.
The important thing is to see risk as a good thing and not to be feared. We need to get out of our self-imposed box. We need to get out of our comfort zone. We need to get out of letting fear block adventure. Expanding our horizon lifts our spirit and increases our faith in ourself. It is a gift we give to ourself. On my second trip to Peru in 1990 while visiting the Coricancha in Cusco, I was drawn to a sepulcher in the inner courtyard. The Coricancha is now a Catholic Church that had once been an Inca place in the past where their gold was displayed even on its walls. Strangely, while staring at this sepulcher that looked exactly like the one I saw in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt, I noticed the people milling around all left one by one and I was left alone in this big courtyard. I walked over to the sepulcher. It had no lid and looked like it was made of stone or cement. Maybe it was used in ancient times to go out of body or prepare for an initiation? I just delete the need to understand.
I was drawn to one edge of the sepulcher and all of a sudden I felt this energy running through me as if I were being drawn into the center of the earth. When the energy let up, I was compelled to walk to the next corner and again the energy thing repeated. I ended up doing all four corners. Was this to do north, south, east and west of whatever it was “they” were using me for? All I know is that I was being used as some sort of a conduit for energy to run into the earth. Don't ask me any questions as I have no answers. I never know what I am doing or why. My point is it doesn't matter. I felt no fear. So what is the worst thing that can happen to us? Maybe some very interesting, puzzling happenings if we but allow for guidance to guide us. See what it is inside of you that may hold you back and let it go. Choose freedom and being unlimited! We know that our mind can make our life a heaven or a hell. Heaven can be right here and now. Our choice!
People have found out that the thing they dreaded the most would turn out to be a paper tiger. It was only the emotional charge placed on it that made it so scary. Once dealt with, it becomes a no thing.
Our imagined fears usually never happen to us. There are various ways to explain fear. One I like is this:
F – fantasy
E - expectations
A - appearing
R – real
If we allow fear to rule us we are not in our love space. We want to seek to be in that heart of peace and calmness and love. If we overcome our fears, if we believe in lighted beings who are here to serve us if we but ask, it then has to follow that we go forth to live life fully. I know that we are not our dense bodies but light beings. At a World Congress in Tucson in 1996, during a group meditation in service to mother earth, I suddenly turned into a wave of energy. I saw the wave, I was the wave, I felt the wave
and I was in it all at the same time. I had left my body and then soon I was back in my body being me.
Again there was no feeling of fear. It just happened.
That time in Maui, HI, at the other World Congress, I actually saw the sun rise from Haleakala Crater very early one morning. Only I saw two suns! I had no fear but it was so overwhelming and perplexing that I buried it. I told no one. It was as if I was one of those natives who doesn't see the ship in their harbor as that was not part of their reality. That was me. Total denial as my mind could not take it in.
About two months after that trip, we were sent newsletters from our group and in it were three pictures taken by three different people who had been at Haleakala that morning. One showed one sun. The other two pictures had two very clear and definite suns. This triggered my memory to acknowledge that I had actually seen the two. Later I learned from my teacher that some dimensions have two suns and even two moons. Don't we have a lot to learn of our universe? What an exciting adventure we are on! I bet we have yet to experience the most amazing and wondrous things to come! We have so much more to open up to! We can look forward to what's ahead with joy!
A wondrous sight for me to enjoy was once when I was driving on a dirt road to get to the main highway near Sedona. I saw a herd of pronghorn antelope approaching and stopped my car. At the same time, the music playing on my car radio was “Morning Has Broken”. It was early morning and the dozen or more pronghorn stopped in front of my car and listened to the radio with their heads cocked. Then they slowly moved on totally unafraid. It was a special, glorious moment and probably engineered by my angels and helpers. Synchronicity at work and would it have happened if all I cared about was rushing to work and making money? Do we miss out on these opportunities by our always being distracted by the struggles or materialism in our lives? We need to let go and flow!
In the wilds of Canada near Jasper, British Columbia, I was led back to my cabin by a deer. My first thought was of scaring myself that being alone any wild animal could come get me. Then the deer came out of the forest and I backed up as she walked towards me on my trail, blocking the way I had to go. I stood there looking at her. She seemed large. Suddenly, she turned and went down the trail the way I had to go. I decided I'd better follow. Not only did she do the main trail, she seemed to know I had to veer off on a minor one or I'd miss the cabin area. I kept following her and she led me right into the area of the cabins and disappeared. Was she an angel helping me to deal with the fear thoughts I'd had? I considered it a teaching lesson to not fear and that this was an unexpected gift.
Even my grandson when he was not yet two showed me how he trusted his guidance and knowingness.
I was floored when he told me at lunch one day, “I choking I get borned. Grandma saved me.” I asked him if he meant that when he was still in his mommy's body, he was choking?” He answered very matter of factly, “Yeah, I choking I get borned.” For him this was just casual conversation. For me, it took me back to that time of his birth. I had sent my healing out to mother and child and was waiting for my son to call and say the baby was here. Suddenly, I felt impelled to jump up and send more energy.
It was after that that my son called to say the baby was here but the fetal monitors had gone off and he was in distress before the birth. Yet he was now all right. Later on I found out from my daughter-in-law that the cord had been wrapped around his neck but loosely. I knew then why he said that Grandma saved him. It was the energy sent only I did nothing. The angels had to have loosened the cord from
around his neck. Whatever, I had no idea that the baby knew about this which shows how much we know! I was amazed at this.
With birth or illness or any situation, what helps is not to wring our hands and worry but to use our energy positively and put the person or situation in an imagined bubble of light and pray for the highest good and most benevolent outcome. That way we do not infringe on free will plus we do not try to tell God what to do. We are not in control so why try to control things! Everything is designed to happen according to universal law anyway. Save the energy to be used in a positive way. Help rather than hinder the situation. Think about the wasted energy, the uselessness of it all, when we sit and worry and fret and stew. It doesn't add anything good to the situation. It is far better to hold the light for it to heal and improve.
I remember a brain injured young man who went to a specialized school. One day the mother called me quite upset and told me the school had called and her son had been hurt and she had to go to the school. She was scared for him. I told her on the phone to picture him sitting up and smiling and seeing it all okay. She called me when she got back and was astounded as that is exactly
