Garret and Sarah convinced the two boys to stay there a couple more days; they loved having them around. Daniel decided he was in no hurry to meet the next queen, so he agreed to stay a while longer. Meting such lovely people felt like a nice change from the life he’d known so far, and they already felt like family to him.

He kept going back and forth between the two worlds, living two separate lives simultaneously. By day he would wake up, make breakfast for himself and his dad, go to work and spend the rest of the day in the gym, or reading his books. He didn’t have to worry about school, since he had agreed with his dad to take a gap year and work, until he was sure what he wanted to study. By night he would hang out with Nemo, Sarah and Garret, learning new things about Endërland, and discovering new places.

He managed to also bring along his dad’s present, and used it to explore Nemo’s sea a bit more in depth. This was an entirely different experience from what he was used to. The seas here were completely clean and untainted by human hand, with all their beauty and majesty intact.

All wildlife was absolutely friendly, in the sea or on land, as he soon also found out. Nowhere had he seen what he knew as wild creatures in his world, hang out with what was supposed to be their prey. Whenever he would visit the forest with Garret and Nemo, he would see wolves, lions, tigers and all sorts of wild beasts come to them just to be patted and played with. He was terrified at first, but soon learned to accept this new reality and enjoy it all. He began to think this might actually be some sort of heaven; it all seemed just too good to be true.
