I waited for hours in the woods before I gave up, needing food I came home settling on a quick microwave dinner. My dad frowned at me for eating it but I didn’t care I just wanted something quick and easy. I waited until he went to bed before I came back out here to the woods.
Unfolding my blanket I set up my camp light and my e-reader. I brought some snacks and water with me, ready to face the night and wait for Teegan. I must have checked my phone a hundred times today waiting for a reply from my mom, but she hasn’t responded to me. I hope nothing is going on with the family wolf pack - I let out a giggle at my thoughts.
Family wolf pack! Who would have ever thought, such things existed it’s the type of thing that lives in the imagination of kids and writers. Maybe that’s where my dad gets his inspiration from. I wonder does he know about my mom, He would have too wouldn’t he. Lying down I find myself looking at the moon wondering if wolves do really howl up at it.
Jesus I hope Teegan isn’t hurt or lost, how would she find her way back. More to the point how the hell would I find her if she is lost. There has to be more to this wolf thing than she is telling me, I wish my mom would get her ass back home and explain things to me. Grabbing my e-reader I start a new book, settling against a tree for the night.
