I passed through a variety of cells I reached a spot way underground. I knew who they were keeping there, a place where no one could see him, a place where he wouldn't be able to see what's going on outside, and for some reason I feel his eyes on me. Ever since I passed security, it's like a predator stalking his prey before an attack, I will not be an easy prey for a hunter. I turned around and headed away from him.
I reached cell 23, there was no guards around the cell, I landed on the ground and pushed a red button. "Wow this is easier than I thought." I said taking a step towards the cell. The lights started flashing as I saw a blur fly past me, I almost called out Trent’s name, but I knew he wasn't here he was out in space fighting for the future of the earth. I saw a few guards running towards me with those same weapons that I saw general lynch holding. I was standing ground, about to take all of them out together. I saw two girls waving trying to get my attention. I looked around for the other button to release them, they should not be locked inside a place like this. As one of the guards reached me I hit him with my elbow, sending him crashing inside the red cell that the blur came out off. I saw the other button I ran towards it as another guard came at me again, I tried lifting the ground up to disrupt him, but i felt nothing. I could not use the ground against them, not in this room. More guards came running down, I hit the one that was closest to me and hit the button, "Fucking mimics" I heard one of the females said.
"Whoa thank you." The other one said tilting her neck left to right with a crack sound. "I’m Lyn Dawson, my brother is Isamu Dawson, and my lady with a big mouth here is Donna Johnson her brother Donnie is the self-appointed fastest man alive, you actually saw him from that other compartment." I looked at her arching my eyebrow. "I’m Arlo, and yea he is fast, not as fast as Trent though." I said as I saw guards flying away everywhere, the wind in the air had suddenly changed, as Lyn took a step outside her cell. "It's good to be back with strong winds." Donna was a blur I only saw her once she stopped for a break, or for punching someone out, even that only lasted about one and a half seconds. I took off to the sky flying far away from the base. I saw a giant whirlwind tearing up the place they have some special skills.
I made it to my ship I saw the Blades waiting for me. "It’s done" I said as I saw Donnie and Lyn standing together next to their brothers. I turned to walk away two arrows flew passed me barely scraping my ears hitting the ship. I turned around to see a tall guy wearing an all-black outfit, with a moon crescent on the right side of he wasn’t holding an bow but he managed to make one appear out of thin air. He was exactly what my senses were telling me in that prison, he is the ultimate prey.
"Get down." He shouted as everyone scrambled around looking at the sky, I looked up and saw Trent’s body falling down I jumped up and caught his body, we fell down on an inflated bounce house, popping the balloon as we hit the floor. "And again, I must say thank you" he whispered to me. I got up and pulled him to his feet he took a deep breath and he seemed energized all of a sudden.
As soon as he saw Ava he flew to her wrapping his arms around her flying to the sky holding her in a hug. I must have had a weird look on my face because Jorie came up and patted me on my shoulder saying "It happens all the time." He must have been strong because I nearly went through the ground with him patting me on my shoulder. I saw Lyn and Kayden kissing each other, why would they put them in the same prison.
I shook my head as Jorie disappeared and appeared next to Donna holding her in a hug. Tobie looked at me and started laughing, he walked towards the pretty blond girl that spoke harshly to me, and they began talking. "Everyone here have a connection." I heard a voice coming from behind me, I turned around to a kiss from alekah, I felt the earth pulling me down, my heart was beating fast, faster than I thought it could, I was Barely able to speak.
"What? Um, what was that for?" I asked her scratching my head, trying to give a hint of smile.
"It’s your Reward that’s what you wanted me to do in the ship."
"What? No, did I" I began scratching my head again. I do that a lot for some reason, especially when I get nervous.
"You are nervous Arlo, calm down and enjoy the moment."
She kissed me again, I looked down and saw the Blades secret base, I was standing on solid ground but was in the air. "You know tomorrow is the big day everyone is waiting on." She whispered in my ear, "I want to show you something." She lightly passed her fingers over my head, and we were suddenly on the ground.
She took my hand, "Close your eyes." She said, looking in my eyes. Closing my eyes I saw her and me sitting next to each other watching the sun rise, we were in a beautiful place with water and sand. There was a relaxing sound coming from the water each time it hit the sand. This is something I could get used to.
"I know, so could I." she responded.
She let go of my hands and suddenly we were back standing, looking into each other's eyes. She smiled, "we should go inside now, I have something special for you."
The next day when I woke up I was in a bed next to alekah, I don’t remember what happened last night. After I came in her room, everything went blank until now. "Sorry, Arlo. You can't remember what happened between us, because it won't happen again. This might be the last time I am ever going to see you." Today was the day I did what was needed to stop the destroyer. We were interrupted by a knock on the door, Tobie wanted us to go to the meeting hall.
We had a big meeting there was food and drinks, everyone was having a good time. I even saw general Lynch in the room, I didn’t know he was with them, He saw me and smiled. "I’m sorry about our first meeting, I thought you were one of those minions." He said reaching his hand out for me to shake.
"It’s alright I did come in a ship after all." I said shaking his hand.
"Let’s get this show on the road." I heard Tobie say and everyone took a seat and started eating, we ate, talked, and laughed. It was as if nothing was wrong everyone knew each other and everyone was having fun.
After the feast we were all hanging out and getting to know each other. I was talking to Trent about the creature he was fighting. "That was not the destroyer, the destroyer looks the same as us but he is an android. He was created by your people, I was there when he destroyed your planet Arlo. I was not strong enough to fight him, no one knows about this but me, and you now."
"Damn not now" I heard Tobie said behind me. A group of minions fell down surrounding us. They weren’t like the ones I met at the ship those ones were different, they were violet colored, taller than the human created ones.
General Lynch shot a bullet hitting one of them in the middle of his head, the minion dropped on him back his head exploded, the impact took down two others with him. "That’s a good shot." I said under my breath. Lynch turned towards me and nodded, I didn’t think he heard me. I saw one of them taking a human up to the armada that I escaped from, an arrow flew past me hitting it on its chest causing him to fall with the human, as the human fell down I flew up and caught him, as I was putting him on the floor I saw Ava’s head, and shoes light up on fire and I saw a fire sword in her hand with one swift motion she sent fire towards a group of minions coming down to the earth. I he flew up hitting as many of the minions as I could.
I saw Trent go down on one knee as if he was a knight bowing down to a king, he put his head up and poof, I saw an instant blur of speed fly up punching every minion he could find, I flew down towards Kayden trying to help him fight off some of the minions coming at him.
Trent looked towards me and I saw his eyes turned Ice blue, as ice came out of his eyes freezing the minions in front of Kayden, Kayden magically made some arrows appear and he put his hand on the string of his bow as the arrows multiplied he fired them up at the minions taking the humans to the ship.
I knew I was needed somewhere else, I looked behind me and saw Tobie fighting a group of minions by himself he was doing pretty good, I saw him hit one on its face as the other swung at him he grabbed its arm and punched it on the side, he th
rew a knife at another one’s head, he then took out a Shuriken and threw it at me I ducked on the floor, than I saw it turned to three it hit three minions that were coming up behind me. I turned around and saw them on the floor, I nodded my head towards him.
I saw Jorie pick a minion up and throwing it in the air, hitting the armada, I knew he was strong. I thought as he teleported towards the armada punching it causing it to move backwards he held out his arm as a wave of energy came out destroying some of the small ships flying out of the armada.
There was a red and a white angel flying towards the armada, I finally saw what they were, they were angels not a thing. The angels were shooting missiles and magnetic pulses shutting down the small ships and trying to save every human that fell down.
I used my gift to control the earth lifting trees and sending the branches up towards the minions flying down. There was a lot of them flying down, I saw Isamu throwing up minions out of nowhere he was up in the air sending minions back out of space, every minion that came close to him couldn’t move, it was like he controlled the gravity. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Lyn transforming into thin air throwing minions away with the wind she controlled, the wind was
