Chapter 5
It was ten in the morning when I woke. I immediately showered and dressed, and then called a cab to take me toward the Dusty Piston where I hoped my car was still safe and sound on the street. The cab arrived a few minutes later. On the way there, travelling over the dusty streets I missed Colt. I wished it was still the night before and I was wrapped in his muscular arms.
The cab pulled up to the Dusty Piston a moment later. Time flies when you’re fantasizing. I paid my cab fare and stepped into the cool morning air. It was a sad scene. Bullet holes riddled the bar, glass was broken, lying everywhere and yellow crime scene tape was fluttering in the breeze. One thing was certain, there weren’t going to be any more parties at the Dusty Piston.
My car was right where I left it, appearing unscathed. I let out a sigh of relief, opened the door and hopped inside, driving back to my house.
I lusted for the road, the wind in my hair. The thrill of the night before was such a draw that I rolled my window down and let the wind wash over me as I continued to fantasize about Colt.
I pulled up to my house and my stomach sank. Colt was there, his bike parked in my driveway leaning on its kickstand. He walked from the porch of my house and toward me, his face wrought with devastation at the loss of his close friend, though he tried to hide it under a veneer of strength.
I opened my car door and walked up to greet him, hoping that Damian wasn’t watching. “Colt? What are you doing here?”
He ran his fingers through his hair, pulling it back. “I honestly don’t know. This isn’t like me. I just wanted to tell you I had a good time last night. The Dusty Piston is toast so I was wondering if I’d ever see you again, or if last night was it. I determined last night wasn’t good enough, so now I’m here.”
I stared into his eyes, lost in their gaze. Something about them called to me. “Closer,” they said and I couldn’t resist it. I grabbed his hand. “Come in. I’ll make you a cup of coffee.”
He took my hand and followed me to my front door. I opened it, my heart pounding. Never did I imagine I’d be letting a hardened criminal into my house, much less one I was developing emotions for and tasked to arrest.
I began to freak out, worried that there might be something in my house to give my true identity away. I risked it anyways.
Colt looked around. “This is a nice place you got here. What is it you do?”
“I’m a geological consultant. I moved out here a few months ago for a large mineral project in the desert.”
He laughed. “Really?”
I had to keep a straight face, hoping my cover slipped passed his bullshit detector. “Yea, really. It’s a cool job, very interesting and lucrative.” I’d always wanted to be a scientist. In a way I was telling him my dreams, even though it was a lie ten feet thick.
He walked up to me, caressing the side of my face with his hands. “You know I’m not used to women playing hard to get.”
I backed away. “And I’m not used to giving it up on the first night I meet someone.”
He smirked and moved in closer. “Good thing this is the second time. What’s your excuse now?”
I stumbled with my words. I wasn’t ready. “My-my bed isn’t made.”
He pulled my hips close. “I don’t need a bed. I can take you right here, right now, anyway you wish.”
He moved toward me again, my back now pressed against the wall. Testosterone raged inside of him. He pressed against the wall with his hands, moving his lips toward mine. I looked him in the eyes and right then I knew that resistance was futile. I was going to give myself to him, and I was going to enjoy it. We kissed.
An unspoken bond formed in between our eyes and he took of his leather cut and threw it on the couch. I let my hands trace down his sides, pulling up his thin white t-shirt over his head revealing a chiseled, masculine body. His pecs rippled as he moved, pressing against me as he went for another kiss.
He whispered into my ear. “Are you still going to resist me Jessie? Or are you going to give in and enjoy yourself, just this once.”
I closed my eyes, his lips now on my neck, caressing my shoulders and then my chest.
I spoke softly. “Just this once,” I said. Though I knew in my heart of hearts, that once he was inside of me it was going to unleash a tidal wave of emotions that would be impossible to contain. I was fooling myself.
His coarse hands moved up my sides pulling off my blouse until only my bra and a pair of blue jeans remained. “Pleasure me Colt. Show me what I missed last night because I can’t stop thinking about it.”
“Gladly,” he said, sneaking his hand around my back and unstrapping my bra with one hand. He threw it to the floor and smothered his face in my breasts, licking them, sucking them until my nipples were coated in his saliva.
I grabbed his waistband with fervor, unbuckling a thick belt buckle of embossed pewter symbols that read IAMC. I rippled his brown leather belt from his belt straps and tossed it to the floor. I unbuttoned his pants, pulling them down to see his bulge. It was bigger than I’d imagined. I lost my breath as I imagined the first moment of penetration.
He caressed my chest with his lips, moving slowly down my abdomen. “Is this what you like Jessie? My tongue on your skin?”
He let his soft tongue meander downward until he unbuckled my jeans, pulling them to the ground with force until nothing but my soaking wet panties remained. He pulled them to side, licking me, tasting me. I moaned. “Oh Colt, it’s been so long since a man has touched me there.” I cried out in ecstasy.
He looked up at my eyes, circling his finger against my clit. “Baby, I’m just getting started with you.” He slipped two fingers inside of me until my back was arched against the wall, dipping them inside of me and massaging my insides. He became more aggressive, pulling his glistening fingers out and ripping my panties in half. He continued to lick me, this time all over, up and down until my knees went weak.
I grabbed the hair on his head and moved it where I liked it, grinding into his face as he had his way with me. “How do I taste Colt?”
“Like a sweet, sweet melon.” He stood up, grasping me by my waist, pinning me against the wall. “And now I’m going to have you, Jessie.”
And have me he did. He aligned his hard dick with my vagina, letting the tip slide around it softly until he thrust inside of me. I gasped.
He pounded me into the wall with determined, hard strokes. I was no match for his strength. He grabbed the back of my thighs until I was suspended in the air. I was at his mercy as he thrust inside of me.
“Colt baby I’m gunna cum,” I cried, lost in waves of pleasure shooting up and down my body. And then it happened. He exploded inside of me without warning.
“God dammit, you feel so good baby,” he said, depositing his outlaw seed in my pussy. He kept himself inside of me, holding me up against the wall. He pulled me toward his chest and walked me to my bedroom. We collapsed on the bed together and he held me, snuggling up beside me until our skin touched in a wave of electric pleasure.
My legs were shaking due to the pleasure. I ran my hands along his chest. “I’ve never come like that before, Colt. What the hell did you do to me?”
He traced his fingertips on my skin. “I gave you what you wanted.”
I didn’t dare say it but I wanted it again, over and over. I never wanted him to stop because I knew, like all god things in my life, this would end, badly, with him behind bars, with my betrayal of his trust. It was up to me to change him before it was too late; before both of our hearts were broken by my duty to the country I swore to serve.
He caressed my back and arms with his fingers. “When was the last time you saw the ocean?”
I thought long and hard. “I don’t know, years. Why?”
“Because I want to take you there, on the back of my bike and make love to you on the beach with the waves crashing behind us, with the moon high in the sky and the wind at our backs.”
I melted, turning
around to look him in his eyes. “You’d do that for me Colt?”
“I can’t explain it, but I get the feeling I’d do anything for you.” He kissed my forehead. But before his lips left my skin his phone rang out in the other room. “Sorry, I’ve got to get that,” he said, getting up.
He walked out of the room and I tailed him. His eyes met mine once more. “I’m sorry, Jessie. I’ve got to run, I have some business to attend to on the other side of town. It’s urgent.”
With that he put his clothes back on and reached into his cut, pulling out a business card with only his number and no other information. “Call me sometime,” he said, and then he walked out my door, leaving me empty and alone. I wanted him to stay, but I knew I couldn’t stop him. He fired up his engine and disappeared out of my neighborhood.
Just as the sound of his engine faded, my phone rang. I answered it. “Hello?” I said.
“Jessie, it’s Damian. We’ve got a problem. A big problem.”
I sighed. “Yea? And what is that?”
“We’ve got it on good intel that the Iron Assassins have a huge drug deal with the Sixers north of Ridgecrest out by Needle Rock. I need you to get up there and snap some pictures for evidence.”
I didn’t respond.
“Jessie? You there?”
“I’m here Damian. I’m on it.”
“Ok. Keep your distance and use your zoom lens, that far out in the desert you’ll stick out like a sore thumb.”
“Ok, Damian. I’ll be in touch.” I hung up on him. Another round of confusion set my insides on fire. I didn’t want to bust Colt anymore. I wanted to be with him but the cop in me kept pushing me forward, toward my closet, toward my camera and zoom lens.
