people, to let happen. I can see why there is this push by the elite rulers of the nations and societies to eliminate retirement and to keep the elderly dumbed down and distracted by silly pursuits.

Retirement should be the time when you concentrate on what you can do to give back to the world, and help improve it. It is the perfect time and opportunity to create revolutions and revolutionaries. Instead you see most people only seeking their own pleasures, traveling, playing golf, looking for girlfriends or boyfriends, and so on, making themselves into silly youth seeking fools.

There is no reason why one should not be healthy and serious when they are older, if they have lived a good life, and have a little genetic luck. They should be useful to others when they are old, not useless. They should peruse new goals or old goals in new ways, and with new vigor.

In my own case, if I had it to do over again, I think that I would have liked to have been a journalist, and devoted my life to investigating and writing about the problems of this world and with society. I can’t go back, but I can still do this, thanks to retirement.
