and cold except for a warm feeling on his side. He lifted his arm to see where the warmth was coming from and realized, even in the dark, that his arm was gone. "Aw shit," he thought realizing the seriousness of his injury. But even with this realization, ol' Honeydew helped him see the lighter side, "What the hell next?"

  With a sickening lightheadedness he lay back on the cinders. High above, stars sparkled in a moonless sky. "How the hell am I gonna get home now?" he thought as a reassuring warmth enveloped him.
