Chapter 17
After arriving to the classroom everyone looks at us. And by everyone, I mean Jackson and Aria. Jackson has that sad face on, but I don’t give a shit. Aria has the kind of expression that says she knows what we did. She winks at me, which I wink back. After sitting down and telling Aria everything she seems happy how I moved on from Jackson and onto Lucas. I’m not that completely satisfied with Lucas yet, but maybe the party will show me what he’s really like. I tell her how I invited Lucas to the party, and she smiles and hugs me.
I also told her that we need to invite other people so our party doesn’t look sad. Aria comes up with a plan to telling everybody she sees in the hall, but I come up with a better plan. I go in the hallway that is the most crowded. I stand in the middle holding a megaphone and turn it on. It makes a squeaky sound, which makes some people turn around to see what’s happening. I put it close to my mouth and yell into it.
“I’M HAVING A
