Chapter 6
“Hey, where do you want to go for lunch?”. Aria says while walking down the halls wrapping her arms around me.
“I don't know, I don't feel that hungry.” I say while putting my headphones on and listening to ‘Love Me Like You’ by Little Mix.
“Dude, are you ok? Is this about Jackson? Did he do something???” She says, cracking her knuckles.
“Aria, I’m fine, calm down, don't worry about me... So, um, what did Michael do?” I say while putting my hands through my hair combing it down.
“Oh, he was such an idiot, I can’t believe I ever fell in love with him!” Aria says while throwing her hands in the air, almost knocking out someone again, just like at Chemistry.
“So, he didn't do anything bad, right? Cause if he did, I would've kicked his sorry little ass”
“I know you would’ve Mia, that’s why I love you, because you look out for me… thank you”. She says while hugging me tight to her side.
“Duh, I know, that's why we are best friends”. I say, almost choking because she is. That’s why I love her, that’s why I knew she was going to be my best friend when I started following her around the playground way back in grade three. I know, creepy, but at least she let me play with her back then. Now we have been best friends for almost 8 years, and I am blessed for that.
