Ahmari was born with stories running around in her head. She used them to tell
herself bedtime stories as a child, to fill a boring afternoon up with adventure, and
to escape to when real life became a bit tedious. She still tells herself bedtime
stories and daydreams, but now she calls it "working." Ahmari started writing in
college, mainly research and term papers, but she also took journalism
and wrote for the college paper. After college, writing took a back seat to her art, but now that she has established a presence in the art world, all her stories are
demanding attention. In the wonderful world of indie books lies her opportunity to
share her stories with the world
Ahmari is also a registered nurse, a Buddhist lay Lama. She also sings and plays
the bass is her band Samsara, with her husband and sons.
