Page 15 of Yield

Macy Carrington... my wife, lover, and best friend... carrying my child. She may possibly be the only woman known to mankind who actually got giddy over every annoyance a pregnancy caused. She was overjoyed when she gained weight, pushing her large belly out for all to see. Every time she got nauseated, she would smile big just before hurling. She seemed to revel when her feet got swollen and her back started hurting.

In essence, Macy Carrington loves being pregnant.

And we are so lucky that she is.

Coppens fucked her up good. We saw two specialists, both who claimed there was too much damage to her tubes to reverse the procedure. But that didn't stop us. We immediately sought out a highly recommended fertility specialist, and after a lot of research and discussion, we decided to try in vitro fertilization using a donor egg.

And you guessed it. Mac was our donor.

And through the miracle of science, her egg and my sperm were mixed together to make tiny embryos that were implanted into Macy. One was healthy enough to attach itself and BOOM... we were pregnant!

And so, the reason we are packing. A two-bedroom apartment was just fine for Macy and me, but with a baby, we need something just a little bigger. We finally found a great place that was actually located almost exactly halfway in between my firm and The Faith Mission where Macy is actually a paid staff member now. It's not much, but at least it's something for all of her hard work.

"Found your diary and all the old newspaper clippings," I say as I release my hold on her and point toward the box. "Figured you want to save them."

Her eyes flick down, and she registers nothing but calm acceptance. Nodding, she says, "It's part of my history. We should definitely keep it."

"Well, the office is done. Only thing left is the kitchen and I'm not doing that until we get closer to the move date," I tell her.

"But that's in three days," she says.

"And it will get done before then," I assure her as I take her by the hand. Rather than pull her face-first back in to me, I've found it's much easier to hug her from behind without that big belly in between us. I turn her around, pull her back against me, and wrap my arms around her shoulders to the front of her chest. "I can't wait for the little dude to get here."

She laughs and nestles back in to me. Her butt wiggles just a tad, but it's more than enough to start getting me horny. I've heard that women's hormones go whacky during a pregnancy and all they want to do is fuck all the time. I don't know if that's true or not because Macy and I have a very active sex life. But I do know this... her being pregnant sure as hell makes me hornier than normal, and I think it's just because I've never seen her happier than she is right now, and that, of course, ramps up my attraction to her.

"Hey," I say as I grind into her a little bit. "Remember that party you threw for Aaron's first birthday?"

She giggles and leans her head back on my shoulder. "Of course I do. It's where you destroyed me in the kitchen pantry and ruined me for any other man."

"Well, yeah... I did do that, didn't I?" I quip. "But I was thinking about how ridiculous I thought all of that was, and I thought you were nuts putting on such an ostentatious party."

"I sense a 'but' in there," she murmurs.

"But," I drawl dramatically, "I totally get it now. I want something like that for our kid's first birthday."

"If it's a girl, we can do a lavish Cinderella-themed party," Macy suggests.

"Or if it's a boy, we can go to a dude ranch or something."

Macy laughs... low, beautiful, and husky. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."

I chuckle and rub my cheek against the top of her head. "I get why you did it though," I say softly. "You never thought you would have a child of your own, so you were making sure Aaron had the best first birthday party ever."

She sighs and even though I can't see her face, I can tell she'll have a smile there. "Yeah... that's why I did it."

"Guess things have changed a lot for you, huh?"

"My life is one-hundred and eighty degrees better than it was before I met you. It's all because I met you," she whispers.

I drop one hand down, rubbing it over her stomach. She sighs and nestles in tighter to me. I slide it up, cup one of her breasts, which are absolutely huge now, and gently squeeze it.

"Want that massage now?" I ask her as I lean to the side and nip at her ear.

"Oh yeah," she says on a soft moan. "I totally want that massage."

"And then can I fuck you?" I ask, knowing damn well what the answer is.

  With Macy... it's always yes.

"I think we can strike a bargain," she says as she pulls away from me. She reaches back, takes my hand, and starts leading me out of the office toward our bedroom.

She's so fucking cute... the way she waddles before me. We haven't talked about it yet, but I want her to get knocked up again. We have several more embryos from the first round of fertilization, and one kid just isn't going to cut it for us.

"What are you thinking about?" Macy asks as we step into the bedroom. She turns and faces me, her hands wasting no time on the fly of my jeans.

"I'm thinking I love you so much," I answer as I watch her fingers work the button.

"I love you too," she murmurs and then she looks up to me with big, wistful eyes. "You told me once that my life needed to be about thriving rather than just enduring."

  "That's right."

"Look at me now, baby," she whispers. "Just look at me now."
