distaste running through him as Gustav pulled out a paperback book and placed it on his lap followed by being ordered to read it. He read the book feeling he disgusted to discover it was another romance novel this time focused on a mystery happening to a female who was the daughter of a deceased actress while falling in love with a male who was a writer. He read the book till he came to the last page and then slammed the book down on the table next to him feeling himself disgusted with having to read it.
He mentally thought “What the depths is going on with the servants to keep things from me?”
He heard nothing from Lance picked up the book and threw it at the open doors only to see Gustav standing there catch the book.
He snarled out a growl as Gustav spoke sounding annoyed “You have visitors in the lobby requesting you.”
Jinks got up and walked passed Gustav while waving a fist in the butler’s face as he passed him. He went to the elevator and took it to the lobby and saw in the room besides his familiar guards two males wearing suits and three police officers. He walked up to them frowning as the two suits held up badges and spoke identifying themselves as federal agents.
He frowned as one of them a short dirty blonde and wearing wrap around sunglasses spoke “I suggest you come with us quietly or we’ll be force to arrest you for that for we have a warrant for it.”
He gave off a sound of disgust spoke “Fine I’ll come quietly. What’s it for?”
He stared at the one with sunglasses who spoke “That matter will be taken at the headquarters and is not discussable here. We have a vehicle outside.”
He again gave off a sound of disgust walked outside followed by the federal agents to see the familiar crowd was there along with several police officers holding them back forming an aisle leading to a van sitting at the curb. He walked down the aisle to the van and got inside to sit as the federal agents followed him shutting the door behind. He sat and felt an arm wrap around his forehead followed by a needle prick pain in his neck making him sleepy which he shut his eyes passing out unconscious.
Jinks came to feel he irritated while lying on a bed and feeling a motion of a large giant boat moving through water from the vibrations. He got up sitting up and looked around to discover he was in a small room with a gated fence door and next to it were a toilet and a sink with a mirror above. He eyed the toilet got up adjusting his pants and went to it. He adjusted his pants once done and washed his hands in the sink then went to sit down on the bed. He felt himself filmed frowned as the federal agent partner to the wrap around glasses came into view on the opposite side of the gated fence door.
He eyed the male who spoke “The name is Jones. I request you to come with me.”
He stood up as the gate slid open which he walked out and followed Jones walking by gated doors to hear a shriek sound which made him look on his left to see a manoid creature that reminded him of a bat with clawed hand sticking out of the gated fence door shrieking. He stiffened as a weird feeling hit him while eying the creature.
Jones spoke “Don’t mind that thing. It’s just batty.”
He frowned but wordlessly followed Jones a maze of hallways and stairwells till he smelled salt air which became stronger as he and Jones reached a large hangar room where there were other people there including the federal agent with wrap around sunglasses standing with his lips in a thin line. He felt disgust seeing the male as he heard a yell sound looked to see with shock his daughter Victoria with her hands tied and restrained by some of the army men along with next to her was Mavis flaring golden eyes while having his hands tied and a piece of grey tape covering his mouth.
He paused from his walk seeing the kids as the sunglasses federal agent spoke “I suggest you do what I say or else.”
Jinks snarled a growl softly as he eyed the federal agent with anger running through him. He glared at the male who added “You’ll use your earthquake power now.”
He heard a shrieking sound felt a headache along with sleepiness which made him woozy wobbled stumbling a bit till he saw the ground rising up to meet him felt it on his cheek and passed out unconscious.
Jinks came to find he sitting in a chair underneath a spotlight. A male human wearing a uniform he saw was patting his cheek and speaking words garbled which he struggled to understand. He saw Victoria and Mavis standing besides the male appearing to be free from their bounds. He shook his head as the patting continued followed by a shrieking sound that made the three people grab their heads and fall to the floor forms going still. He felt wooziness as a Human woman wearing a white dress with a white cape and biracial skin and long black hair came into view heading towards him. He snarled feeling rage hit him hard as the woman reached him leaning towards him. His rage became full blown willed the Master through as the woman straightened up her form with a confused look on her face. He mentally ordered his earthquake power to come to him and sensed vibrations all around him as the woman stumbled her footing.
He growled loudly “I’ll kill you, you bitch.”
He repeated his words as the earth around him continued to shake violently as the male with wrap around sunglasses came into view holding a long gun in his hands. He watched as the woman ran out of sight into the inky darkness followed by the male holding the gun. He continued to shake the earth while feeling rage running through him fisted his hands growling loudly.
He got an image of Lance flashing in his mind followed by his father’s voice speaking “Stop the earthquake now! They’ve been freed so you can stop it now!”
He ignored the order continued to shake the earth till he felt sleepiness hit him hard ceased the earth shaking and shut his eyes. He blinked his eyes to see the woman was back staring at him without a cape on with a male wearing a white robe standing next to her that seemed familiar. He forced himself up from the chair and charged towards the woman while feeling himself angry as he felt himself restrained from behind by arms wrapping around him. He struggled against the arms feeling them ironclad as he fought to free himself while growling his angry eyes at the woman who walked forwards towards him to place hands on his forehead. Jinks jerked his head up eyes towards the light blinded by it as memories of the woman he recognized as Janel flashed in his mind.
He gasped out “Janel.”
Jinks felt her hands lower themselves from his forehead to his cheeks while forcing his head down as his eyes stared at Janel looking annoyed on her face stared back at him. He breathed hard through his nose as Janel leaned forwards and kissed him on the lips which he rolled his eyes from feeling pleasure hitting him. He shivered as her lips left his lips but her hands remained on his cheeks rubbing the areas. He sighed of pleasure feeling Janel’s hands on his cheeks that made him feel happy from the feel. Jinks felt he freed from the arms as he reached his hands towards Janel placing them on her shoulders feeling warmth coming her as he touched her. He sighed again to stare at her seeing she had a pleasant look on her face as hands were felt on his shoulders forcing him down which his butt hit a chair and he sat as Janel followed him down leaning her form.
He spoke “Janel.”
Silence was his answer from Janel who kissed him on the forehead followed by his hands forced off her shoulders by a pair of hands as she forced his eyes shut.
A gunshot sound made him jerk his eyes open which he looked around with confusion seeing he was still in the hangar room sitting in a chair and the male with wrap around sunglasses was in his eyes sight sideways in front of him pointing a gun in a direction. He heard a shrieking sound that reminded him of pain before the sound died down. He looked around the room to see people were lying on the floor appearing to be shaking their heads while groaning loudly. His eyes focused on Victoria lying on the floor shaking her head with her hands touching her head while grimacing of pain on her face a meter away from the federal agent. He frowned as he saw the federal agent still holding the gun walk pointing the gun down and went to Victoria putting the gun to her head a
nd fired it. He stiffened as Victoria jerked her form before going still then the form shredded backwards showing the creature he saw locked up appearing to be a manoid like bat. He felt the familiar weirdness feeling stop as the creature he sensed died. His eyes looked around the room searching with a frown on his face as the federal agent walked in his line of sight walking up to him to place a gloved hand on his shoulder.
He stared at the federal agent who spoke “Sorry about that. Turns out that thing should have been put down the moment it was spotted hidden on the ship.”
Jinks exhaled a breath as the federal agent removed his hand of his shoulder as sounds of groaning became louder. He looked around the room feeling tiredness hitting him as he spotted Victoria appearing to be shaking her head while lying on the ground with Mavis leaning over her patting her cheek from sitting next to her with concern on the Builder’s face. Jinks sighed feeling relief hitting him seeing his daughter was alright and seeing that Mavis appeared to show care towards Victoria by his gentle touch on her cheek and the look of concern on the Builder’s face. He frowned as army people got up from the floor some going to the manoid bat and hauling it out of the hangar room out of sight. Jinks
