him with a confused expression on his face.
Ajax spoke “Uh Predecessor could you explain this odd feeling I’m getting at the moment that makes me think something bad is going to happen?”
He heard the Meritanians give off laughter sounds followed by Ramses speaking “Why don’t you wake up and see for yourself?”
Jinks leaned over to his right to shut Ajax’s eyes that had a look of horror on his face before disappearing in a flash of light.
He glared at the Meritanians and spoke “Alright what joke did you do this time?”
He heard Ramses give off his familiar question in an annoyed tone as his eyes were forced shut.
Jinks woke up lying on a bed jerking his eyes open while sitting up. He looked around the room to see it appeared to be some medical bay and saw Victoria lying on a bed appearing to be asleep as he saw Mavis on another bed nearby sleeping by form still with eyes closed. He got up from the bed to stand feeling himself better but a weakness feeling hitting him. Jinks frowned as he felt a tip toss feeling making him off balanced a bit. He frowned forming it on his lips as the off balanced feeling stopped followed by the familiar motions of the boat traveling on the sea. He heard a sound of a door sliding open looked at his left to see a female walk into the room wearing medical scrubs with some annoyed expression on her face.
He frowned as she spoke “You should be in bed resting as ordered by me medical doctor Samantha.”
He shrugged and got back on the bed sitting on it and stared at her as she weave walked over to a desk to sit in a chair while giving off a sigh loudly as he felt the boat again tip toss.
He spoke “Is there a storm out there or what?”
Jinks stared at Samantha who spoke “Not really. It’s just one of the officers fooling around on the controls. He’s locked himself in the bridge alone and is fooling with the controls while others are trying to convince him to stop. So far judging by the motions he hasn’t been stopped.”
Jinks gave up a sound of disgust and spoke “Maybe I could help?”
He heard Ramses’ voice sounding in his mind “Do that and I’ll dump you in the ocean! I mean it period.”
He groaned as the headache went away and added as Samantha shook her head in a no gesture “Alright just thought I could help when it’s apparent you don’t need it.”
He again felt the tip toss feeling mentally spoke “Meritanians could you please stop playing your games? I’m getting a little nervous that something bad is going to happen.”
He heard Ramses speak “Shut up or I’ll dump you in the ocean. Let us have our fun.”
Jinks groaned softly as he moved his feet off the bed.
He heard Samantha exclaim “Stay on the bed. We’re in lock down mode with travel on the ship restricted due to the trouble in the bridge.”
He placed his feet back on the bed and forced himself to lie down with arms folded feeling himself disgusted with the Meritanians.
He mentally spoke “When will your fun stop and you get bored with it?”
He heard nothing from the Meritanians shrugged to mentally add “Just hope that there’s a way to get you to stop your jokes.”
He shut his eyes only to jerk them open when he found himself floating in air among the clouds while falling down towards the ocean down below.
He roared out loud “Meritanians will you stop that?!”
He heard nothing from them as he continued to fall and stiffened seeing a large sea boat come into view down below him and realized that he was directly going to hit the boat instead of the water.
He folded his arms and roared “This isn’t funny! I’m not amused with this joke!”
Jinks glared at the boat as he came nearer and nearer. He blinked his eyes to discover himself standing back in the medical bay room with his arms folded a glare on his face. He heard Ramses speak in his mind “Trash us again and we won’t give you mercy next time so watch what you say period.”
He felt the headache went away as Samantha came into his view looking confused while speaking “Where did you go?”
He spoke “Nothing just had to float somewhere.”
He stomped to a bed and got on it laying his form on top of it and glared at the ceiling glaring at the lights shining overhead. He shut his eyes to dream of himself back at the beach facing Lance who had an all black eyed glare while appearing to be boring them at the Meritanians who were laughing hysterically.
He spoke “Father what the Meritanians did this time?”
He heard from Lance “They think its funny throwing you in the air and having you fall towards the ship only to put you back inside it. Also they keep putting me out through that clouded gate whenever I hit them with my earthshaking power. I figured the only thing to stop those Meritanians is another Meritanian powerfully enough to counterattack their unstoppable jokes which we don’t have at the moment.”
He frowned as the familiar feeling hit him from behind made him turn around to look at the scenery of trees and bushes seeing nothing amiss.
He frowned as the Meritanians stopped their laughing and heard Ramses’ voice sounding behind him “What are you looking at Horus?”
He heard Lance speak “Jinks? There’s nothing but plant scenery nothing to see here anyway.”
He stiffened as the feeling got stronger when his eyes focused on a large fronded plant and he stared at it with a frown.
He again heard Lance speak “Jinks?”
Jinks eyed the plant as a frond moved down showing a Human like face with black eyes identical to the Meritanians that formed a disgust expression on the face. He stared at the face as another face came into view besides the face and saw the two faces all having disgust on them.
He again heard Lance speaking “Anyway nothing to see here Jinks. Just turn around and look elsewhere.”
He shook his head and spoke “I don’t know but I’m getting a feeling that there are visitors here watching us.”
Jinks frowned as the faces appeared to be cocking their heads before the plant frond came into view blocking their faces which he again felt the weird feeling.
He turned around to face the Meritanians which Ramses spoke “There’s no one here but us and you two smarty.”
He shrugged and spoke “Do you have any kids or what?”
He stared innocently at the Meritanians who glared at him before Ramses spoke “Well we had a sister plant named Merra before I transported her off planet, brag that she could have kids and it didn’t matter who the father was regardless he was manoid or not. She bragged that she birth any kind of kid, plant or manoid which her bragging got too much for me so I transported her off planet just to shut her up. Besides if she had any kids, plant or manoid we haven’t heard any peep from them or sensed them at all.”
Jinks frowned as the feeling went away and he sensed anger coming from behind him spoke “Oh dear just hope that those kids aren’t going to retaliate against you for the jokes assuming they exist.”
He heard Lance sounding confused “Jinks what you are talking about? There haven’t been any kids detected in my memory.”
He shrugged as the Meritanians gave off gasps sounds with groaning tones followed by Ramses speaking “Owe drat that Elemental for hitting us with his zapper. No fair for doing that owe.”
He frowned as Ramses spoke again “Who dares to hit the mighty Ramses the great with his zapping puny power? I’ll manipulate you to suffer pain if you keep on doing that!”
He eyed Ramses who gave off a gasp and spoke “What?! Merra had kids and wasn’t kidding about that! I can sense them all over and their stinking mad.”
He frowned as Lance’s hand came into view forcing his eyes shut.
