"Could you be any less obvious?" I snapped.
The realisation that I'd spoken like that to the 'It' girls dawned on me, and I shut my mouth pretty quickly. I scuttled away into the change rooms, murmuring something about a drink, which was an excuse to save myself from getting another ball to the head.
I sank down onto the bench in misery, burying my head into my hands.
What a glorious life I had..

This story is a work of fiction, which I made up with my imagination. The characters, plot, events, etc. are not real.
First I would like to thank my family, especially my Aunt Jenny. She was the one who told me as a young child to write down my thoughts for one day it might be a book. It’s because of her that the top thing on my Bucket List is now completed. She has been there to read my story from the very beginning and tell me what she thought about it, before anyone else knew I had a passion for writing.
Then there are my kids. I’m so proud to have them as my kids for they are some of the sweeties and understanding kids I’ve ever known and I’m not just saying that because I’m their mother, but because I really mean it.
I have made friends through my writing, but one person stands out amongst the rest and that is my friend Emily. When I would have major writer's block she was there to help me figure out what would be the best way to go about with the story. Not only had she become a great writing buddy, but my close friend that I find was ever easy to talk to and I thank the heavens above for being such a great person in my life.
I couldn’t have done this with not for my agent Le-an Lacaba for taking the time and reading my story and helping me get this story published. You have been a great supporter and always there to answer all my questions through out the whole publishing voyage. You helped me over come some major fears I had been having throughout the process on bring this story to print and for that I just want to say, Thank You.
Last but definitely not least, thanks to every single person who took the time out of their day to sit and read the story on Wattpad. For those who voted, commented, followed me, and most of all encourage me to keep writing. I would have become the writer I am today without you.
But there one last person I most like to thank and that is my father. I know at the bottom of my heart he is watching over me and my family from the heavens above. I remember as a teenager and I would sit in my room and write he would tell me that maybe one day I would publish a book, well daddy it looks like that dream has come true. I’m sure you had your share in making this happen, I love and miss you.
About the author
Letty Scott is a single mother of two from Texas. She enjoys writing ever since she was nine years old. Even though she was diagnosed with having a dyslexia problem she still writes to let those around her see that even if your grammar is not all that great, as long as you have a good storyline most people won’t mind. At least this is what she as learn from the website Wattpad where she has actively been writing on for the past few years.
