  I slapped my knees and stood, and walked on uncertain legs to the leather-flap door. ASure is comin= down pretty hard out there,@ I said.

  AYou=re welcome to stay the night,@ offered the Shaman.

  I looked to the rain again, and closed the flap.

  AMay as well, and why the hell [email protected] I sat back down on the dirt floor of the hut, and when the shaman offered the drink again, I didn=t refuse. I took the bottle from him gladly, and with a smile.

  AYou [email protected] the shaman asked.
