“No! You get up NOW! And since you said that, NO BREAKFAST FOR YOU!” She grew to the size of an elephant. Then she shrunk back. “Come, on!” she said daintily as she skipped off to Skylar’s room.
Belle cautiously stepped out of her room and into the kitchen.
“Morning, Skylar!” Cindy pulled off the covers of Skylar’s bed.
“Yay! Is Chloe and Nikki here yet?” she hopped out of bed and threw her clothes on.
“Yeah, and they’re ready to do something fun… I think….”
“Ooh! Ooh! Can we go to the park today….again?”
“NO! NO PARK! THEY HAVE TO GO HOME NOW!!!!” Cindy screamed and grew like a maniac again.
Skylar was dazed. “Uh…. Ok….. Can I still get breakfast? And why did you grow?”
“I grew? Oh, of course you can get breakfast! Chloe, Nicole, and Brianna are happy to serve it for you!” Cindy smiled and hopped down the stairs.
“Huh?” Skylar stared at her.
Cindy sat down in the chairs. Chloe said, “Hey, wanna go to my house? It’s pretty cool! Only thing is that you’ll have to turn into a fairy to get there… but you’ll have fun! It’s in the sky!”
“NO! I WILL NOT FLY INTO A GOOD FAIRIY’S HOUSE! I AM CINDY AND I WILL DESTROY EVERY FAIRY THAT IS NOT EVIL LIKE ME!” Cindy grew to the size of a house. She transformed into a dark fairy. Instead of the weather dress, it was a black and purple lacey and pointy dress. Her wings were black. Her smooth brown hair turned into a witch’s hair.
She cackled and flew up into the air.
“Uh oh!” Chloe’s face went pale, along with everybody else’s.
Chapter 18
Chloe, Nicole, the gang, Belle and Skylar transformed into fairies and flew up to Nicole’s house. Phoebe had disappeared. No one knew why. They thought it was Phoebe just being Phoebe!
“We’ve got to think up a plan!” Chloe said.
“I know a plan. It’s an easy and obvious plan, too!” Brianna stuck her hand up.
“What?” Everyone asked at the same time.
“Duh. Steal the crown on her head that’s making her like this. It put this crown on her when she was two so she would be evil like this. I like adventure! Oh, to do that, I put a curse on the crown….if you were wondering….”
“Well, first of all… how did you get a curse on her? You’re an animal fairy! Not a dark fairy!” Brando yelled.
“Hey, people are animals too!” she giggled.
“BRIANNA!!!!!!” Everyone yelled.
Chapter 19
“Those dang Chihuahuas! If they wouldn’t have followed me, I wouldn’t have to have destroyed them!” Cindy growled.
“I know!” Phoebe growled. “Now, we are going to destroy them, huh, sis!”
“Yup, but how?”
“Sis, I’ve got dark magic, you’ve got lighting. Combine them and they’re knocked out.”
“Let’s just wait for them to come.”
Chloe peered through the room. Phoebe! That’s where she went! She’s on dark side! She’s on Cindy’s side! “Ok, Me, Brandon, Belle and Nicole will keep watch. Brianna, since this is your fault, you’re going to grab the crown while Skylar will distract her.” Chloe pointed out.
“Got it!” Everyone said.
Brianna slid under the door. Skylar turned into a ghost and went through the door.
Unseen, Brianna popped herself on Cindy’s head. Skylar turned back to human. Cindy and Phoebe immediately noticed.
Cindy growled, “What are you doing here, puny good fairy?”
“Trying to get you to stop!” Skylar said.
Cindy sneered. Without her noticing, Brianna grabbed the crown and signaled Skylar. Skylar winked at Brianna. The magic from the crown hadn’t worn off just yet.
“Ok, time to get dirty, little monster fairy.” Cindy stomped up to her.
“Well, um, I surrender now, so you can stop thinking about hurting me now!” Skylar backed off toward the door.
Cindy used the wind power to block the door. “Not so fast. If you surrender, you’re my prisoner!”
Brianna sprinkled a little magic on Skylar. Nothing happened. Cindy was enraged and mixed her electricity with Phoebe’s dark magic. She blasted Skylar in the face.
Chapter 20
Just then, Brianna’s curse wore off. Phoebe and Cindy shrunk. “Oh my Gosh! I can’t believe I just did that!” Cindy said as she saw Skylar on the ground.
She shook Skylar until she woke up. “Who…. Who….who are you?” Skylar squinted and said when she saw Cindy.
“What? You don’t remember me?” Cindy gasped.
Chloe, Nicole, Brandon, and Belle ran into the room to see Skylar with amnesia…. Again.
“Well, we’ll go to your houses. We’ve been saving you guys a house since the car wreck.” Brandon said as he snapped.
They all appeared in front of a big pink house. “This one is Belle’s.” Chloe said. Belle immediately ran inside and plopped down on her new, pink waterbed.
They snapped again and appeared by a purple house. “This one is Skylar’s” Nicole said. Everyone walked in the small house.
Cindy, Chloe, Skylar, and Brandon sat on the couch. “You really don’t remember us, do you?” Cindy cried.
Skylar shook her head no. Cindy burst into tears. “I was… was cursed. You tried to save me! I can’t believe I did this to you!”
There was a silence. “You…. Um…. Didn’t do it.” Brandon said.
“Wait… What?” Cindy looked up to Brandon.
“I did it. When the car wreck happened, Brianna and I wanted to get the family back together. For years, we planned in my room for this day. We knew everything that just happened was going to happen. And now our family’s back together!” Everyone hugged each other except Skylar.
“I’m not kidding! I have no clue who any of you are!” she giggled.
“Oh, um, oops!” Brandon laughed. He brought back Skylar’s memory. Everyone laughed.
“Good night!” Nicole laughed. Everyone went home.
Epilogue
That night, Cindy, Skylar, and Belle lay in their beds. They all smile. Those DANG Chihuahuas, They thought.
