Squirrel: “She’s got some, but ol’ chap. You’re lacking fur.”

  Jeff: “I’m licking fur?”

Amber laughs and shakes her head while she covers her mouth to repress the laughter that wants to escape. Her fear has been erased by the communication between the squirrel and her brother while Daphne is watching from above as Amber laughs at Harold and Jeff’s encounter.

Daphne: “Harold? Are you talking to that girl? Harold!”

Jeff and Amber watch as Daphne scampers down and then sits between Amber and Harold. Daphne wrings her front paws together as she looks at Amber and studies her for a moment, then glances at Jeff and raises a hind leg and scratches her mid section.

Daphne’s fur flies up into the air and floats n front of Jeff and Amber as they wave at it before it lands on their clothing, Daphne shakes her head and makes clicking noises.

Daphne: “You’d think they’d want the extra fur.”

Amber clears her throat and suddenly speaks with renewed confidence.

  Amber: “We’re not squirrels.”

Daphne clicks twice before she speaks in a condescending tone.

  Daphne the Squirrel: “Obviously.”
