The next day Amy and Elizabeth met Josh and Randy at the school. They said a quick goodbye to the guys and took Molly out to dinner at Sadie’s, and then ran by the local market and bought snacks and soda, and Molly picked out a movie.
“Beth, can I sleep with you tonight?” Molly asked as the movie ended. She was already dressed for bed in her princess nightgown and fuzzy slippers. “Then we can all sleep down here tomorrow night for the slumber party.”
“Sure,” Elizabeth smiled.
Elizabeth let the dogs out for one last time while Amy locked the back door and headed upstairs with Molly. Once the dogs were in, Elizabeth turned on the alarm and turned out the lights.
