CHAPTER 10

  “What're you going to do?”

The suited man stood tall, he leaned over the railing and down at the hospital floor. He took a breath and nodded once.

“What I have to do. Even if it risks everything.” he told the other man who was sitting in the chair beside him.

The man nodded and looked to the suited man.

“Do what you want,” he told him, “But be careful, he isn't one to mess with. After all, you were the one who missed him when you had the chance the first time.”

The suited man turned to the other man and gave him a look.

“I missed him for a reason,” he said, “I'm testing him. If he survives this, then he and the other one will be greater than what the others in his team were.”

The other man nodded and sighed as they both looked down at the hospital floor at the bloody man laying on the stretcher. As he was being rushed to the emergency room, the other man huffed.

  “If he survives this.”

The suited man nodded in agreement, “If.”
