CHAPTER 11

Christie sat upright. It had just been a dream, right? She looked down at Jason, but he was still in a deep sleep. It had just been a dream.

Her heart was thundering in her ears and she knew she’d never be able to fall asleep unless she made sure.

Christie quietly got out of bed, grabbed the diary and left the room. She went into the guest bedroom and turned on the lamp there. She sat down and began to read.

It was all there. Everything she’d dreamt was written in the diary. Everything except for the last passage. It had been written a year earlier and the handwriting reflected Selena’s advanced age.

  Dear Diary,

I know it has been many years since I’ve picked you up. Quite frankly I’d completely forgotten I even had you until Eric found it yesterday. These days it seems I forget everything.

I just wanted to let you know how very happy I have been. Eric has been by my side always, and true to his word he looks just as old as I do. We are no longer able to have the same passion in bed as we did when we were younger, but I love him more still every day.

I have given up friends. It is simply too hard for anyone to understand my relationship. Most everyone feels sorry for me because they think of me as a lonely old lady. I simply laugh, if only they knew how much passion and love I’ve had in my life because of Eric. I only wish that everyone could find someone like him. Someone who would go to Hell for them, someone who would give up Heaven.

  Selena Dean du Mercier

“Jason,” Christie whispered to herself. He would do that for her, she knew that. And she was going to lose him if she didn’t show him that she loved him just as much. Selena gave up friends and Eric gave up Heaven, and all Jason asked was that she give up a few hours of work.

She would do that and more! She would give herself to him fully. By the time she was done with him he’d have no doubt how much she loved him.

Determined now, Christie showered and put on a nightie he’d bought for her the year before but she’d never had time to wear. It was black, see-through lace that left nothing to the imagination. She paired it with three inch heels that she’d also never worn. She dabbed a bit of perfume on her wrists and behind the ears and strutted back to their room.

She looked down at Jason’s face. He looked so sweet and innocent while he was asleep. She would take care of that in less than thirty seconds. With a wicked smile on her face, Christie pulled back the covers and was pleased to find him nice and hard for her.

She carefully moved the elastic of his pajama pants up and over his erection. She didn’t want him to wake up just yet. She climbed into bed and took him into her mouth. She licked lightly at first and he stirred.

Encouraged, she sucked harder. Suddenly she felt his fingers entangle in her hair as he took over the motion of her mouth on him.

  “Christie,” he moaned.

Even though it was her that was pleasuring him, she felt the warm liquid that seeped at the juncture between her legs.

Jason lifted her up off him and pushed her onto her back. “I can’t think of a better way to wake me up, but that’s not what I want right now.”

  “It’s not?” she asked disappointed.

“No. It’s been too long. I have to be inside you.” He placed himself between her legs and pushed aside the scrap of fabric that covered her opening.

She cried out in pleasure as he entered her. He loved her slowly at first, but then increased the tempo. He kissed her deeply, his tongue mimicking the thrusts of his cock.

When she shattered, tears rolled down her cheeks, but he didn’t notice. With a few more hard thrusts he did the same and fell onto her, completely spent. When he lifted his head and saw she was crying he became concerned. “I didn’t hurt you, did I? What’s wrong, baby?” He was lightly caressing her tears away.

“I’m sorry, it’s just that, I’d completely forgotten how wonderful it is to make love to you. I am so sorry, Jason.”

  “For what, my love?”

“I am sorry that I put my job ahead of you. I love you more than anything and I don’t ever want you to forget that. I want you to know that I would go to Hell for you and being with you is Heaven.”

Jason chuckled. “I know that, silly girl. And I hope you know that I feel the same about you. You’re my soul mate. Not even death will tear us apart.” And with that he made love to her all over again.

“We should go,” he whispered to her. “This is a private moment for them.” The pair looked one last time towards Jason and Christie as they kissed.

“Yes, my love. Are you ready?”

Eric took Selena into his arms and kissed her soundly. “With you I am ready for anything.”

Hand in hand they walked into the unknown, into the light that had been calling him for so many years, but hadn’t been strong enough to pull him away from the call of her soul to his. His soul mate.

  The end.
