Morgana was silent, gap-mouthed, but her eyes were still wide. Julia wondered if it was fear or disbelief or perhaps a deep-down confirmation? She felt a little better as she slung her purse over her shoulder.

  Misery does love company, she thought, then stopped, wheeled back around and stepped over to the consultation table, determined to have a few more last-words.

  “Seeing your condition,” Julia began, looking at what she now knew was a baby-bump, “I’d say he’s way more than a two-timing SOB and you can tell him I said so...Oh, and if you need any more grounds for divorce, use the rest of those; they’re all yours.”

  Julia walked out, feeling better than she had for quite a few weeks.
