Lisa is a passionate fan of all creatures great and small. She’s owned cats and parakeets for nearly her entire life. She spends much of her free time doing nature photography. She feels strongly that we should respect and nurture the animals which share our big blue marble.

Lisa’s a fervent believer in helping readers transport to a new world with each story. She goes to each zoo in person before writing up its tale. No ghost writers; no long-distance reliance on others’ thoughts. The sights, sounds, and aromas are the ones she personally experienced on her trips.

With Lisa’s stories you can enjoy a virtual vacation to a variety of zoos – and then visit the ones within reach!
