Page 2 of Love On The Way...

look perfect when I meet her today, though we were already engaged, but still I wanted to impress my would be better half, I looked at the present I bought for her again and again and also went to washroom at the last minute before leaving office to fresh up and due to this reached the station late and missed the train. I hurriedly took out my cell to call her to inform and ask her not to board that train, but the number was not reachable. I tried again and again but the response was the same.

Few minutes later I heard the announcement that the train which we used to board daily, and I missed that day had become a victim of a bomb blast at Mahim station. I was broken at that very moment, I felt as if I had lost her forever and world went blank, but then after a few minutes I collected myself by the thought that she must not have boarded that train when she did not find me in the train, may be God wanted this and that’s why I missed the train today, so that both of us get save from the attack. I called her parents, her landline but due to the terror all telephone lines and mobile networks were jammed. I reached her station through cab and tried to search her, but that day it seemed as if entire Mumbai had accumulated on that station, an ocean of people was there and it was impossible to search one girl among them, so I left for Mahim station where the train was hit by the blast, but the police had sealed the entire area and no one was allowed to enter it.

I was left with no option but to return home, so I left for my home with positive thinking that as soon as all the network are resumed I will get the news of her safety, and also I remembered that even my parents would be worried about me. In all the news channels it was flashing that today seven trains in Mumbai were attacked through bombs by the terrorists, a few hours passed and then we received the news that she was among those 209 people who became the victim and lost their life in those attacks on 11th July 2006. I lost my fiancée the very next day of our engagement without even sharing a few special moments with her.

I still regret why I didn’t talked to her the previous day we met in the train, if I would had we could had shared some best moments of our life, I even regret why I missed that train that day, if I had not, I could had got the opportunity to die with her in the blast, we could had held each other’s hand in our last moment, why her number was not reachable in that minute when I called her to inform about me missing the train, if that time I could had been able to talk to her, I may had saved her from dying, but all these ‘whys’ and ‘ifs’ are just to explore the possibilities that would had been there, but the truth remains that it was destined to happen, and so it happened. My destiny wanted me to live so I missed the train and got saved and her life was over so she was on time that day and boarded the train. I was left to regret after her.

Though after a few days of grief life moved on, I didn’t wanted to marry anyone else after her and travelling in local trains became a lot difficult for me, it made me remember and miss her more and more so went to United States to avoid all this, but after three years when I returned for a vacation I had to marry another girl and take her away with me to settle there forever, she was aware of my past and had accepted me with it, she gave me immense love that I forgot my smiling travelling partner and fiancée, but still I realised that she was the first love of my life, a love which was pure and which started from our eyes and smile and reached to our destiny, but unfortunately was rejected there.

With passage of time I thought why this happened? We had not done anything bad to anyone to suffer such a punishment, at least not to those terrorist who came as devils of death in our life’s, but then another question pops up in my mind that it was not only us, but those 209 people and many more who lose their life’s during such blasts, and even worse not only those who die in these are effected but 209 relations are effected, with the death of one person dies many relations, as the one who dies is someone’s father/mother, son/daughter, brother/sister, husband/wife, and/or someone’s love. They all lose so much with the death of one person just like I did and the most unfortunate part they are subjected to such punishment without any crime. So I always pray to God to stop such barbaric attacks and save people from losing their loved one.

After that day whenever I hear about ‘Bomb blasts’ effecting any city of the country, those unforgettable days of my life comes flashing back in my eyes, and I start imagining that may be this attack have again lead to the birth of another ‘me’ somewhere, but I always pray that it should not do so. And also I wish that everyone should express their feelings to the person as soon as possible as you don’t know what destiny has in its pocket for you, the time which is right now with you and for you may not remain tomorrow and you may be left forever to regret for your love which may be lost forever unexpressed...

So say no to terrorism or crime and yes to love, so that you never have to regret like me remembering your unexpressed and lost Love on the way of life...

  Me “N” Her – A Strange Feeling

The story of love and Separation, where destiny dictates the relation.

Love ... Life ... Separation? Love – implies three words – smiles, tears, and endings. Endings are not always happy ... yet they leave a mark in our lives in some way.

‘Me “N” Her – A Strange Feeling’ is an involving and intriguing love story of two young people, of strangers, whose paths cross and lead to strange feelings, later discovered as love. Harsh is passionate and ambitious, but forgets his ambition when he meets Janvi.

Janvi ... loves to dream, but is lost in life ... reasons unknown.

At the height of their celebration ... a strange twist in life happens, that changes everything forever ... Love is what brings them close ... and love is what ... separates them. Does love change with time? Is it possible to fall in love repeatedly with the same person? Harsh and

Janvi give you every answer ... their love story will remind you of your first love ... its

unexpected ending will bring tears and smiles.

His inspiration for the book is the confusion that teenagers of today face in their definition and understanding of what is love. Teenagers feel that falling in love is just by talking, joking, and meeting fr
iends. Sad, but this fact is not true, all the time! On the other hand, sometimes, they think that their love is just good friendship. Most youngsters today are confused between love, friendship, and infatuation and those who get true love don’t even know how to appreciate it ... Ironical but true!

Through his first book, he wants people to understand the difference between friendship, infatuation, and true love, to have faith in their love and wait for their time to come. Love is also about sacrifices and is in the hand of destiny. Love and destiny are co-related ... if there is love in your stars; it will come with time.
