Chapter 2
“People fear what is different and unknown. Even the bravest of us feel some trepidation when encountering something new and potentially dangerous for the first time. The Church has is recent years begun to speak out against Psionicists. I use their real name, the name they use for themselves here rather than any of the hateful slang many use. To me, calling a Psionicist a “freak,” or a “demon” is no different than calling a black man a “Nigger.” If we, the Salecian people, as a culture frown upon the one, then why should we not frown upon the other?” - From the Journal of Bayard Soloman
