We had a really brilliant time today. Me and Matt found a rope in his dad’s shed and we tied it onto the tree by the gully at the back of his house. And we tied a tyre on the end to stand on and we were swinging out right over the gully, and these other kids came and they tried to push us off and we chased them away. I could swing higher than Matt because he was scared of falling off, and Dad, have you got any rope at work you could bring home so that I could make a swing in our garden?
Mum says are you going to be late tonight?
and ple-e-e-e-ase look for some rope before you come home.
