Two miles away, the hillside exploded. A silent bright white and yellow flash burned into Jim’s retinas. A half second later, he felt the impact of the deafening shock wave and he felt the heat of it as it past through him.

  The fuel from the high capacity tanks erupted skyward. Flames raced higher turning red then rolling, billowing into a giant mushroom cloud. Jim tilted his head back following its path into the sky. The trees on the hillside were now a blaze of fire. Sirens screamed as the emergency trucks from the field raced past him and towards the crash site.
