“No,” I say. “No kill order.” It’s a topic I haven’t discussed with Seth, but should have, and will, after this.
“No?” Bear asks. “Because it’s a gift from someone high up in the agency.”
Remembering the gift Nick’s CIA contact had promised me, Bear now has my attention. “Who is it for?”
