MIDNIGHT

  Midnight,

  blackness enfolds

  the dead of night

  has come.

  I wake,

  the night’s void

  calling for me

  to rise.

  I rise,

  the urge pushes

  pulls me forward

  toward.

  I walk on,

  toward the voices

  of those long

  forgotten.

  The arrival,

  I am there…

  where?

  I am them,

  they are me

  no more am I.

  Only,

  midnight,

  only blackness,

  for now it is always

  the DEAD of night.

  Daylight,

  brightness surrounds

  the first rays of dawn

  has come.

  Nowhere am I,

  lost in the dark

  in a new place.

  No more

  daylight,

  no more

  brightness,

  no more

  dawn.
