His eyes narrow while pushing his groin into me, putting pressure in all the right places. I rip his shirt off and run my nails down his muscled, tanned back. He lets out a low growl and I bite my lip, pulling his lips back down to mine as he makes sweet love to me. All. Night. Long.
Mmm, the White Tiger, has been tamed.
The walls are painted white and the windows sitting as arched glass directly at the back of the chapel, the long panorama glass covering the entire back, overlooking the heart of Westbeach—the ocean.
I’m inhaling deep breaths, clutching Blake’s arm.
“Speedy, you can still run,” he whispers into my ear.
I laugh, shaking my head. “Stop.” My brother’s in an elegant suit as well as the rest of the groomsmen. Ryder has five: Tommy, Ryker, Leo, Rellik, and Blake. To match my five: Melissa, Meadow, Vicky, Kalie and Alaina. We’re waiting in the room before entering the main church when Blake squeezes my arm again.
“I was kidding. You’re perfect for each other,” he states casually.
“Oh, oh, did you just…did you just actually approve?” I say in mock surprise.
“He’s still alive, isn’t he? Thought that was all the approval you’d need.”
I shake my head and bring my eyes to the front entrance.
“Dad would be proud of you. He’d have probably whipped Ryder’s ass a lot more throughout your guy’s time together, though. I sometimes think that I’m failing him if I’m not a little hard on you. I’m sorry, Speedy. I don’t know how to love without aggression.”
A tear escapes and I lean my head on his shoulder. “You’re perfect, Blake. I wouldn’t have your love any other way.” I smile up him. “I love you, big guy.”
“I love you, too. Let’s take you to your waiting groom.”
After the bridesmaids walk up the aisle, I take my first step toward becoming Mrs. Phoebe Oakley. The white wooden doors open and the seated crowd stand. It’s mostly close family and friends, we wanted to keep it as small as possible without pissing everyone off, so we could throw the media off. We have around two hours tops before they find out what’s happening Ryder said.
A sweet melody starts playing through the speakers and when I look up at the altar, Ryder is holding a mic in his hand and Ryker has his guitar. My cheeks heat and my heart pumps with love, I inwardly hope he doesn’t begin singing ‘Heart Shaped Tiger.’
Looking to Blake questionably, he shrugs. “He insisted. Nothing but the best, remember?”
I bring my eyes back to the altar just in time for Ryder to begin singing the sweetest song I’ve ever heard. It’s just him and the electrifying sounds of the guitar. He’s wearing slacks and a crisp white suit top that’s rolled up to his elbows, showing his sleeve tattoos.
The song continues to play as I make my way to him.
Blake lets me go, before squeezing Ryder’s shoulder in warning….for a little too long because the crowd begins to stir with chuckles.
“Blake…” I growl under my breath.
“Yeah, yeah, all right. Look after her, Ryder. A gun is not what you should be afraid of if you don’t. But I think you know that,” he says with a cocky smirk and I roll my eyes.
Ryder nods his head in understanding before his eyes come to mine, giving me a wink. His fingers lace with mine and he tugs on me gently. Biting down on my lip, I smile up at him. His arms wrap around my waist, pulling me in and kissing me. He draws his tongue out briefly before pulling back. I shake my head at him when he whispers, “Just so fucking different.”
“Still a fucking dolphin,” I answer back with a smirk, and he throws his head back in a laugh. I get to hear that laugh for the rest of my life, and that thought alone sends my stomach away with the fairies.
I fucked Ryder Oakley. Thousands of times.

A little bit about me. I am the mama bear to four little kiddos, two girls, and two boys. I’m also a wife-to-be to my partner of ten years. We were high school sweethearts, without the high school. My little (big) family are my rock, and I’m so lucky to have them with me through it all.
I am from New Zealand! Born and raised in a small town called Rotorua. It’s a beautiful city, just smells a little. I’m currently living in Australia on the Whitsunday Coast (Great Barrier Reef) where we hope to settle down for a long time. I love the beach, and margaritas, and wine. Don’t forget the wine. Chinese food is the best food.
One day I hope to travel the world, preferably the US, because I’m obsessed with it. I would travel now, but my bank account is like...”Dude, no.” So I’ve put that in the goal bucket.
I love all my beautiful readers, you have kept me going. You’re my inspiration to keep writing, with all your kind words and reviews. You are all amazing, and I write for you.
That’s enough yappin’ from me. See you all in Wonderland. x
Namaste.
