Eight years is a long time, especially when all I’ve managed to come up with is around Thirteen Thousand Words. Nowhere near enough for a novel. But if there is one thing I have learned from this experience, I am not a novel writer. I will always write short stories. And if my work seems to need more - to be unfinished in its short form, then it is up to me to find a way of fixing that.
I feel as if I have done that with The Doorway. I hope you agree.
