  Excerpt from Dr. Spriggan’s speech on the TV show “Spirituality today.”

  “You’ll never find an atheist in a foxhole.”

  I like that saying because it sums up many things about the human mindset. I believe that once you strip away options, choices and control from a man, then you’ll find them more willing to pray to a deity or demand something of the universe. When you’re no longer in control of your surroundings or situation, isn’t it easier to curse the powers at be for creating such a scenario then blame yourself for falling into it?
