  But that was a problem bigger than any of them in the lighthouse for now, something to work toward solving over time. For now, she settled against her husband, whose eyes had closed, his breathing steady and regular. In a few moments she’d get up and check the lamp to keep the sea safe for the ships that traveled on it.

  For now, it was enough to be safe in her bed with the man she loved beside her.
