The tip of Mike’s tongue trailed down his biceps. “Do I smell like wild places, still?”
Sergei laughed softly and ruffled his hair. “I’d have to compare. And monitor that. Refine my assessment over the next years…”
“Ranch has plenty of spare dung. I’ll be sure to roll in it regularly.” Teeth scraped his arm, nipped his skin gently.
“I always knew the Alliance was decadent. I intend to see just how decadent.”
Mike laughed. “Decadent? I don’t call a working ranch decadent, exactly.”
“I was joking.” Sergei grinned. “I want to learn all about it.”
“Kenzis might be a backwater planet, but we have plenty of access to that stuff. All you want.” Mike turned, then trailed a finger down the meridian of Sergei’s face, over his lips, and down his chest, then leaned in and kissed him again.
About the Author
With three generations of military in her family, Rhianon Etzweiler tends to create characters and stories that reflect the qualities of a soldier. Some of the other inspirations in her writing come from early childhood experiences in Germany and Austria.
Her addictions include coffee, yoga and the written word. Her one failing is the inability to write a “short” story. “It’s like asking someone to tell you about their life,” Rhi says of her muses. “Like any real person, once you get them talking, it’s unlikely they’ll shut up anytime soon.” She lives near Hershey, Pennsylvania, where the dirt smells like chocolate when it rains, with her lapdog Queensland Blue Heeler, and Shark the goldfish.
Aleksandr Voinov is an emigrant German author living near London, England. Originally, he studied medieval history with a focus on military history, but he then moved to London, where he works as an editor for a European investment bank. His professor would be proud—or horrified—if he knew.
His genres range from horror, science fiction, cyberpunk and fantasy to contemporary, thriller and historical erotic gay novels. In his spare time, he lifts weights, explores historical sites or meets other writers. He single-handedly sustains three London bookstores with his ever-changing research projects and interests. His current interests include World War II, Afghan history, British medieval history, Tsarist Russia and boxing.
He loves traveling, action movies, spy novels and ponders getting a cat or two, like other writers.
