Slowly but surely, Connor was coming around.

The only people missing from the group were Patty and Marc, but that was because Patty was in the hospital still, after just having to have an emergency C-section. Luckily, Patty and their baby boy were okay. It was slightly scary for a bit, but it wouldn’t be in true Hot-Lanta fashion without a little bit of drama.

Looking out at his yard, his first yard ever, he took in the sights and sounds of the most important people in his life. Through thick and thin, they stuck by each other, even if their greatest problems lay within their group, a group that decided to stay together as a unit in one of the biggest cities in the country.

Sticky summers, warm winters, the hustle and bustle of the ever growing city, the traffic and the people. It was where they lived, where they fell in love, and where they got married and chose to raise their families. The city brought life, it brought death, it brought complications, and it brought happy tears, but through it all, the good times and the bad, Luke had to admit there was no other place in the world like Hot-Lanta.
