With Cas as president, the clubhouse was busier with brothers staying even though they hadn’t been called for business. Cas was bringing a new sense of brotherhood to the club and the brothers liked it.

So that’s why tonight I helped organise his becoming president party, of course we had our own private party while the girls finished setting up.

The bar area had been transformed with banners and decorations, I had gone overboard and had far too much alcohol delivered but with new guests pouring in and out of the club on a daily basis it wouldn’t go to waste.

It was the first celebration the club has seen in months, the music was blaring, the drinks never stopped flowing, brothers were being serviced by the club girls whenever and wherever they wanted to, and everyone was finally happy, well as happy as they could be being stuck inside because of the rain.

“Hey old man, how you doing?” I asked Oak, plonking myself down on the stool next to him at the bar.

“I’m doin’ real good darlin’.” he smiled at me, he caught my gaze at Cas and laughed.

“That boy is gonna marry you real soon.” he pointed out, seeing Cas smiling at me.

“I can’t wait, I hope you’ll be around to walk me up the aisle.” I said, catching him off guard.

“I ain’t goin’ anyway darlin’, and I couldn’t more honoured you’d ask me to take ya daddy’ place. He’d be proud of you comin’ through what you did, ya know.”

“I know, guess we’ll just have to wait for him to pop the question.” I giggled, jumping down off the stool with a bottle of beer in each hand.

I kissed him quickly on the cheek and headed back to Cas.

“Thought the president would like another beer.” I said handing it to him.

“Thanks babe, come here.” he said, tugging my hand to sit on his lap.

“No no, you’re going to dance with me.” I smirked.

I knew he didn’t like to dance but I knew he’d hate it even more if I found someone else to dance with.

He dramatically rolled his eyes but got up and followed me to the dance area.

“I ain’t doin’ none of the shit Sparky does with you.” he warned.

I laughed at him, “I don’t expect you to.”

Putting my arms around his neck, he pulled me close and we simply swayed to the music.

“I love you so much.” I told him.

  “I love you more.”

We continued in each other’s arms and when the song finished I expected him to say he’d had enough but he didn’t flinch. We carried on for what felt like forever.

After everything we’ve been through, it has made us stronger, we lost each other for a year, my abduction nearly took us away from each other permanently, but we know what we have now and neither of us are prepared to let go of it.

  “Cas.”

It wasn’t someone jokingly calling him, we both heard the urgency and stopped dancing.

A path cleared between us and the door. My eyes bulged when I saw her standing there, bruised up worse than I had been and dripping from head to toe from the rain, no jacket only a bag hanging on her back.

I stepped closer to her, once she saw me she didn’t stop staring, she was out of breath and her nose was scrunched up in pain.

  “Bonnie?” I murmured.

As soon as I said her name, everyone pulled their guns on her. Who the fuck do they think she is?

“You got a problem.” she said, her voice squeaking as she shivered uncontrollably.

“Oh yeah, what problem would that be darlin’?” Pope asked, moving closer with his gun trained on her.

“Your war isn’t over, it’s only just beginning.”

Before anyone could say a word, she collapsed on the floor.

  The End.
