"Keep talking,” Archie said. “Talk to me, Dave.” Archie pounded into him again and finally let go of one hip. Rough skin stroked down Dave's cock and Archie's thumb pushed at his slit. “Tell me you mean it."
"Fuck me.” It was the only thing Dave could think to say. “Hard."
Archie bit at Dave's shoulder and stroked him off with a tight fist. “Come for me, babe. I want to feel your ass around me. Come for me and I'll ride you so hard you pass out later."
The shower went icy as the hot water ran out. Cold rained down on them, shocking and sharp, and Dave yelled as he started to come. Archie was huge inside him, massive and hard, and Dave's climax went on and on as he imagined doing it again in a few hours. Every night could be like this, maybe. All the time.
He didn't notice when Archie shut the water off, but he did feel the towel, warm and soft, pressed against his skin.
"Come on, babe. Stick with me. You're gonna make my ego balloon way up there."
"Gah.” Dave started toweling off, leaning on the shower wall. “Damn."
"Yeah, I know.” Archie kissed him, and then kissed him again. “Come on. Shorts on, dinner and a movie. Want to stay over tonight?"
Dave nodded and climbed out of the shower, every inch of him tingling. “Yeah. Thanks. I'll need to go home tomorrow, though, and start laundry. You can come with, if you want."
Really, they were practically living together, but neither of them seemed ready to give up their own space. The current arrangement worked for them, and apparently allowed Archie to hook up once in a while to indulge. Dave was cool with that. Archie always came home.
A phone started ringing as they dressed and it took them a few moments to identify which cell phone it was and then find it.
"It's Des,” Dave said, looking at the caller ID. “Huh. For you."
"Answer it, doof.” Archie tossed him a T-shirt and pulled his own on.
Dave shrugged. “Hello?” he said, watching Archie fight with the shirt; he'd gotten it on backwards.
"Dave? It's Des. Is Archer there?"
"Yep, he's just being bested by a blue T-shirt with a white stripe. Oh, hang on, he's victorious. One moment."
"Actually. Wyatt tells me that once more I'm out of touch with how other people do things. I'd like to talk to you, in point of fact."
Dave blinked, twice. “I can't imagine Wyatt saying that."
"He used very pretty words and made it sound like I'd thought of it myself."
Dave laughed. “Fantastic."
"I thought so.” Des sounded almost proud. “Anyway, he brought to my attention that while you and Archer are indeed seeing each other, you don't follow the same rules of conduct that I'm accustomed to. In short, I don't actually need to ask permission of Archer to ask you for something."
Dave looked at Archie who was looking back expectantly. Dave shrugged and said, “I guess not, no."
"I did speak to Archer enough at lunch time to know that you two are not exclusive, though you do keep outside interests to a minimum, is that correct?"
Dave rolled his eyes. “Des. You're making this all sound very formal and official."
"I think I'm nervous, actually."
Dave sat on the end of Archie's bed. “Oh.” That wasn't exactly expected and the confession made Des sound almost vulnerable. “Okay, you ... Talk how you need to."
Archie laughed softly as he sat down next to Dave and took his hand.
There was a long pause and then Des said, “I'd like very much if you'd have dinner with me this weekend."
Dave looked at Archie and nodded, then mouthed the word “date.” Archie's grin lit up his face and Dave rolled his eyes. “I'd like that,” he said finally. “But you gotta know that I'm not submissive."
"I know. I think that's what's intriguing me. I'll see you in the morning, Dave. Please say good night to Archer for me. Oh, and Wyatt says hello to you both, in the sense that he's laughing at me for being nervous."
Dave shook his head. “Tell Wyatt we said hello. See you in the morning, Des.” He disconnected the phone and passed it to Archie. “Well. It looks like we're going down an interesting road, boss."
"But it's going to be fun.” Archie tumbled him back on the bed and kissed him. “Who knows? Maybe the four of us can find a spot of happy. If not, we've still got each other."
"Always.” Dave kissed him back, sure of that if nothing else. He had Archie.
