Page 16 of Three and Out

Jax got in the shower and pulled out his soap that was pretty much for his whole body. Being a guy was so much easier than being a girl. Jax had one soap for his hair and body, simple. Girls had a million different bottles with fragrant scents in them for all different parts of the body.

Just as he was rinsing off, he heard the door to the bathroom open and quietly close, like Brooke was trying to be sneaky, but she couldn’t pull one over on him. Whipping open the curtain, he said, “Can I help you?”

Brooke jumped out of place and held her heart as she looked him up and down. “Jesus, you startled me.” Her gaze trailed down to his erection, which was now sprouting from her perusal, and she licked her lips like she was about to have the most delightful treat.

“Keep looking at me like that, and you’re going to get yourself into some trouble,” Jax said, as he felt himself grow larger on the spot.

Brooke took her clothes off in a matter of seconds, threw her hair up in a bun, and got into the shower. She shut the curtain and placed her hands on Jax’s chest.

“What do you think you’re doing? I’m trying to get clean here,” Jax teased.

“Do you want me?” she asked, while she ran her fingernails over his pecs and down his stomach, making him harder than fucking stone.

“You know I do,” he replied, while peeking down at his erection.

  “Say it.”

“I want you, Brooke. I want you so fucking bad.”

“Good.” She pushed him up against the wall, angled the shower head so the water was hitting his shoulders, and then went down on her knees.

God, he hadn’t been sucked off in a while, and the mere thought of Brooke wrapping her perfect little lips around his cock had him ready to explode already.

She placed her hands on his thighs and gently licked the tip of his cock, which only made it jump from the pleasure that rolled from him. Jax relaxed his head back, which made the water splash off his chest. If this was going to happen, he was going to relax and enjoy it.

Her hands moved from his thighs to the base of his dick and his balls. One hand gently cupped his balls, as the other stroked the base of his dick. The pressure she applied as she wrapped her hand around him was perfect, just enough to make him wiggle in his stance as she played around with his balls.

“Damn…” he mumbled as she continued her torture, never going any further than the middle of his dick. It felt like she was maneuvering everything to the tip of his arousal, so when she finally touched him there, he would explode instantaneously.

Jax looked down at Brooke and saw her beautiful green eyes stare up at him right before she rolled her tongue around the head of his cock.

“Fuuuuck,” he breathed out as his head flew back again. The sensation of her warm tongue around his hard tip made his head spin. His knees started to feel weak as she continued to swirl her tongue around him while working her hands. It was almost all too much to handle at once. He needed to grip something, but there was nothing but cold tile and water.

Running her tongue down the underside of his dick, she stroked the very sensitive skin as her mouth landed at the base of his balls. In one swift movement, she opened her mouth and allowed his balls to sit in her mouth, or at least tried to, as her tongue made gentle swipes against his sensitive skin.

“Christ,” he panted, literally panted like a damn dog. “Brooke, you’re killing me.”

All she did was chuckle, which vibrated his balls, sending him into a frenzy. He was going to lose it any second. He could feel his balls tighten up and his toes start to curl.

As if she could read his body, she placed her hands back on his balls and, in one swift movement, took his entire cock into her mouth until it hit the back of her throat. The woman showed no signs of a gag reflex as she pumped him in and out of her mouth; it was every man’s dream. Sparing a glance, he looked down at her as she wrapped her lips around him and pumped him.

“Motherfucker!” With one last squeeze to his balls, his stomach tightened, his legs went numb, and his eyes shut as he exploded into her mouth. Not caring about what kind of crazed man he looked like, he pumped in and out of her mouth until every last drop was released.

Breathing heavily, he sunk down to the tub, onto his knees and into Brooke’s waiting arms.

“That was because you lost today,” she said into his ear.

“What do I get when I win?” Jax asked jokingly.

“You’ll just have to wait to find out,” she replied, as she leaned over and turned off the shower.

“Something to look forward to,” Jax said, as he grabbed the towel that she handed him. They both toweled off side by side, and Jax couldn’t help but relish the company of having someone with him while he completed such an easy task, like a shower…well, and a blow job.

“I ordered pizza, I hope that’s okay. I had more important things to do than cook,” she winked.

  “Fine by me.”

As they grabbed their clothes, Brooke led him into her bedroom so they could both get changed. She grabbed a pair of striped pajama shorts and a tank top, not wearing anything under them; just what he liked, easy access.

Jax put on a pair of sweats and decided to leave his shirt off; he liked watching Brooke’s eyes wander about his body. It made him feel energized.

He noticed Brooke’s bathroom door was closed, and he nodded toward the bathroom. “Why is the door closed…you have a dead body in there or something?”

She blushed as she looked at the door. “Uh, that bathroom is out of commission right now.”

Smiling, Jax was about to tease her when she held up her hand. “It’s not what you think; I didn’t blow it up or anything, the toilet water is just not working.”

“What do you mean?” Jax asked.

She twisted her hands nervously, which Jax thought was adorable. “Well, a little bit ago, I got a little drunk one night and, well, kind of got sick…you know,” Jax nodded in understanding. “And when I went to flush, it was like the toilet turned off.”

“Let me take a look at it,” Jax started walking toward the bathroom, but she ran in front of him and placed her hands on his bare chest, stopping him in his tracks.

“No, that’s okay. The plumber will be here tomorrow…”

  “You’re lying. I can tell.”

“Jax, there is old puke in there, like really old puke; I don’t want you to see that.”

Jax laughed as he said, “I’m a professional football coach, you don’t think I haven’t seen my fair share of gross shit? The guys on the team like to spread their ball sacs on their pants and say they have gum stuck on their jeans, okay? I can handle a little puke.”

Brooke scrunched her nose in disgust as she said, “Do they really do that?”

“All the fucking time,” Jax replied, as she opened the bathroom door. There was a faint smell of something nasty in there, but he ignored it and went to the toilet. He lifted the back lid and saw that there was no water in it. He put the lid back down and bent down to where the water hose connected to the toilet. He noticed the knob was twisted to off, and that was when he started chuckling to himself.

“What? What is it?” Brooke asked, while leaning over him trying to see what he was seeing.

“When you were puking your guts out the other night, did you happen to play with this knob?”

She looked at it and realization set in. “Yes! I thought it was pretty, so I was trying to twist it off to take to bed with me.”

“What?” Jax shook his head as he tried to understand her. “I don’t even want to know.” He flushed the toilet, and water started flowing through, making Brooke clap her hands in glee.

“You’re such a man!” she exclaimed, as she threw her hands around his neck and gave him a giant kiss on the lips.

“You’re just figuring that out? Apparently, I haven’t done a good enough job proving that to you.”

“Oh no, you’re all man, but who knew you were a handyman too?”

&nbsp
; “Not really handy, just perceptive.”

“Well, I’ll be thanking you later tonight.”

Jax squeezed her ass and said, “Any form of payment is accepted, and tips are suggested.”

“Perfect. I know just the way to tip you,” she squeezed his balls and then walked away, making him crouch over for just a second as he watched her hips sway away from him. Even though his team lost today, he kept thinking how he still felt like he’d won, now that Brooke was in his life.

  Chapter Eleven

  **Piper**

Piper had never felt more awkward in her life. It was Tuesday night and Lexi and Jake wanted to have a mini goodbye dinner for Mason before he went back to Denver to start rehabbing his knee. Piper thought it would be best if it was just the three of them, but both Lexi and Mason insisted that Piper join them.

Reluctantly, she put on grey skinny jeans and a Ramones T-shirt and joined in the festivities. Lexi greeted her at the door, practically squealing when she saw her, and then scolded Piper for not staying in touch. Piper didn’t want to get into the details right there, in the entryway, so she just apologized and walked into the house.

From the back of house, Piper spotted Mason and Jake out by the grill, talking and drinking beers. They were like a tame porn site for the ladies to look out onto. They were both wearing khaki shorts that hung low on their waists, and Jake wore a green T-shirt, while Mason was sporting a black polo. Watching them joke with each other and clink beer bottles made Piper ache to run up to Mason and claim him as hers forever, but she knew that was too fast. She was still hesitant around the man, but seeing him so carefree, so loveable, made her ache. She wanted to be fun-loving and happy with Mason, but she knew that was going to come in time…hopefully. Right now, they were lucky if they could get through a conversation without getting on each other’s nerves.

Not really feeling like she belonged, she followed Lexi into the kitchen where she was cutting up watermelon. Instantly, Lexi handed Piper a beer and told her to drink up. Apparently, Lexi, the nosy one, wanted details, and she knew Piper well enough to know that a beer would help loosen Piper’s tongue.

“Do you need any help?” Piper asked, as she took a big gulp of her beer, hoping for it to start to loosen her up a bit.

“Can you slice the tomatoes, please? We’re having burgers, and Jake needs tomato slices on his burger…it’s a requirement. Frankly, the idea of having a tomato on my burger makes me want to puke.”

“I hear ya,” Piper said, as she grabbed a knife and cutting board.

  “So…” Lexi pushed.

“So, what?” Piper acted as if she didn’t know what Lexi was fishing for.

“Cut the crap. I want the deets. Where have you been, and why are you and Mason all of a sudden able to be in a two mile radius of each other without ripping each other’s heads off?”

  “God, you’re so nosy.”

Lexi set down her knife and turned to Piper with her hand on her hip and her finger poking Piper’s shoulder.

“When you’re my best friend and you go disappearing on me, without a word, I get to be nosy. You hear me? You scared me, Piper. I was seriously concerned. So, don’t try to block me out now. You owe me an explanation.”

Knowing Lexi was right, Piper decided to confess everything.

“You’re right, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. I was just going through a really rough time and I didn’t think I could be around anyone that was connected to Mason. The moment I saw Brooke in Mason’s apartment, I lost it. I lost it completely. I blamed him for being with her, which made no sense, because I was with Jax. I just couldn’t stand to see the bitch, so when she came out into the living room wearing only a shirt, I saw red. I let my pride overtake my body and I shut Mason out. I picked everything up and took off. I didn’t care where I ended up, as long as it was as far away from Denver as possible. I wound up in Las Vegas, where I made some really bad choices that I won’t get into, but, needless to say, I didn’t have any other place to go after that, so I had to live with my parents.”

“Wait, I called them and asked about you.”

“I know, and I told them not to tell you where I was,” Piper said, feeling guilty.

“Wow, okay. I’m just going to drop that, because I don’t want to get pissed at you right now. But, hell Piper, you couldn’t have at least let me know?”

“You were connected to Mason. And, I love you, Lex, but we both know you gossip better than anyone we know. If you knew where I was, it was bound to get back to Mason somehow.”

Lexi tried to defend herself, but knew it was pointless, so she just shrugged her shoulders and let Piper continue.

“It’s been hell living with them…my parents. They haven’t changed, and heaven forbid my dad show any kind of affection toward me.” Shaking her head from the lack of parental love she was born into, she continued, “I fell into this black hole where I was just kind of moving around in the world, but not experiencing anything. To earn some cash, I babysat for my cousin, and that’s when I ran into Mason at the bistro. It was like meeting him on the airplane all over again. I couldn’t help but be snarky toward him, and he was a giant ass…surprise. He wound up taking off, and when I was cruising the streets to make sure that he actually made it back to your place, I saw him yelling at his crutches while sitting on the grass next to the sidewalk.” Piper remembered seeing him on the grass acting like a child, and it brought a smile to her face.

“Ugh, he is such a freaking pansy when it comes to those crutches and just being hurt in general. He loves playing the ‘woe is me’ card. Jake feeds into it because the two are in love with each other, but I didn’t fall for it. I helped Mason out, but I also let him be self-sufficient, which apparently you didn’t do,” Lexi said.

Shaking her head, Piper moved forward with her story. “No, I was a bad influence on his baby act. I made lunch and dinner for him and got things for him. I just couldn’t stay away, even though there is still a lot of hate between us. There’s always been this force that has pulled us together, though. I can’t deny it anymore, and neither can he. I’m actually kind of shocked that he hasn’t given me more of a cold shoulder. Makes me wonder…”

“Wonder what?” Lexi asked, as she popped a piece of watermelon in her mouth.

“It makes me wonder if he has ulterior motives.”

  “What does that mean?”

“It’s not a secret that we both have trust issues. Mason and I have always had issues, but the physical aspect of our relationship has always powered through, which helped us realize that we do have some things in common. But, I just don’t understand why, all of a sudden, he’s being so nice to me. I feel like he’s setting me up, and he’s going to take me out to Denver and then humiliate me like I did to him.”

Lexi stopped in the middle of putting a piece of watermelon in her mouth, and turned to face Piper again. “Are you kidding me?”

  “No…”

“Piper, did you tell him that?” Piper shook her head no, and Lexi continued, “Well don’t. I’ve known Mason for a long time, and he may be an ass, a giant douche-like bastard most of the time, especially now that he is a scarred man, but he would never do something as manipulative as that, ever.”

“That’s what I would like to believe.”

“Well, believe it, because it’s the truth. I love Mason and I know him; he would never do that to you, so get it out of your brain. He’s been struggling these last couple of months. He tries to put up a front, but I hear the conversations he has with Jake. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, he missed you. You two belong together; now all you have to do is step away from your stubborn pride and just live. Stop wondering about asinine things like revenge, because that won’t happen. There is just one thing on Mason’s mind, and that is to be happy again. For some strange reason, when you two were at each other’s throats, he was happy. He wants that again, and knows he will only get it from you.”

  “Get what from Pip
er?” Jake asked, as he walked into the house with a plate full of burgers in one hand, and a beer in the other. He leaned down and gave Piper a kiss on the cheek and said into her ear, “It’s really good to see you. Don’t leave us again, you hear?” Piper nodded her head, as Lexi tried to cover up what she’d been saying.

“None of your business,” Lexi sassed Jake. “I don’t interrupt your boy talk, now do I?”

Jake set down the burgers and held up his hands. “Well, excuse me for living.”

“You’re excused, now set the table with that pathetic friend of yours.”

“I heard that,” Mason said, as he leaned over the bar and winked at Piper. “Hey, I didn’t hear you come in.”

God, her heart started beating rapidly as she took in the dark scruff of his jaw and the chocolate colored eyes that bored holes into her soul. The way he spoke to her was with a soft voice, one that she’d once heard when she told him she wanted to make things work out between them. It was a voice that affected her entire body from her toes to the tips of her hair; he could make her do anything just by using that voice.

“She got here a little bit ago, but you two morons were too busy drinking beer outside,” Lexi said, as she blew past everyone and started placing bowls on the table.

Mason smiled and looked over at Piper, making her heart stop beating in her chest. His eyes were soft, and he looked genuinely happy to see her. At that moment, when their eyes connected, she knew, even if Mason might be playing her, she couldn’t walk away; there was no way. She needed to soak up as much Mason as possible.

“What are you waiting for?” Mason asked, as he jerked his head, telling her to come to him, “Come give me a hug.”

Jake and Lexi were in the dining room setting the table. Well, Lexi was more likely lecturing Jake on the proper table setting protocol, while he wrapped his arms around her body and kissed her neck.

Piper walked over to Mason, who had his arm up waiting for her to slip into them. She put her arms around his waist as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Taking a deep breath, she relished the masculine scent of Mason, and pressed her head against his chest. She felt his lips caress the top of her head, making her toes tingle from the contact.
