SECOND AUTOBIOGRAPHY
END OF SCHOOL YEAR
My life story up to the point where I wrote it last fall is the same as it ever was, of course. (Seriously, why would it be different? Honestly, Mr. Liebe.)
Even so, I have to admit that I do understand it better.
Which I guess was kind of the point.
And this year…oh, man, this year brought a lot of changes. And, to be truthful, most of them were spurred by this Biography Project.
I for sure learned more about my family, and myself, than I could have imagined when you assigned that first autobiography. In fact, I am now connected to my grandfather in Finland in a way that never would have happened without the project. So I need to thank you for that.
Also, I have figured out what I want to do when I grow up, which is great.
You may remember that in my first bio I said I kind of wanted to be a hero. Well, now I am, at least in a way. Close enough for me to be comfortable with that.
Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it.
Let’s just say it was a gas!
(I know you will think I am “skying” when I say that, but honest to roses it’s absolutely true.)
And that thing about how I thought I might want to be a veterinarian? I’m totally set on that now, partly because I know I’ll have help like almost no one can imagine. Cats are amazing.
I want to be the greatest vet since Dr. Dolittle.
And I am not skying when I say that!
