“I’m glad. Now let’s get it covered up for a bit.”
I set down the mirror and turn my back to him as he applies some gel and covers up the tat.
Taking a seat on his stool, I watch as he cleans up his area. I love seeing him in action. This is his passion and I’ve just become a part of his world by allowing him to put his signature work on my skin.
“Okay, babe, I’m ready when you are.”
“Oh, I’m ready, let’s go.”
Reaching my hand out to him, he grabs onto me and leads me out of the shop.
While getting into the car he turns to look at me, taking my face in his hands.
“I’m taking you home now, Etty. I’ve waited long enough to be with you and I can’t wait much longer.”
Biting down on my lower lip, I nod my head and look into his eyes.
“Get us home, Dault, I’m all yours.”
A sensation of yearning pulls at my core and my imagination gets away from me. The first time I was with Dault was one of the best sexual experiences of my life. I can’t bring myself to expect any less this time. Our feelings are growing, our connection is stronger, and the bond we’ll be able to make tonight will be so much better.
Anticipation fills my heart, soul, and mind as we take the short drive home from the shop to the house.
I feel giddy; it’s unreal how much I’m looking forward to being with him right now.
He pulls the car up next to our house and jumps out before I can blink an eye. I guess he’s just as excited as I am…well, I hope he is.
Opening the door, he reaches in for my hand and helps me out. Side by side, we walk along the concrete path leading up to the house.
My eyes land on all three of the guys sitting outside on the porch, smoking.
“Hey, lovebirds, how was your night?” Linc asks, standing and walking toward me.
He pulls me in for a hug and then steps back.
“It was amazing. Did he tell you what we were going to be doing?” I ask while receiving hugs from Steve and Cliff.
“Yeah, we kinda heard about it all night from Ashley. Those two were a plotting machine yesterday.”
I look at Dault who now has a scowl on his face.
“Shut up, Linc, now my secret is out.”
Letting out a giggle, I pull myself up next to him.
“Tonight was amazing, Dault. I don’t care if anyone helped you plan it out.”
Shaking his head, he punches Linc in the arm.
“So let us see,” Steve says, moving Linc and Dault out of his way.
Dault helps to pull the crew neck of my shirt down just enough to expose his work. Peeling the tape and film off of my skin, I hear the guys comment to Dault how great it looks. I feel a sense of pride for him and his work, especially since the guys all agree.
Turning back to face the crew, I give a smile up to Dault. He looks so happy and I can tell he’s feeling proud as well.
“Well, we’ll leave you two be, we’re just inside playing cards if you get bored,” Linc remarks with a wink.
Steve and Cliff start to laugh as they walk back inside the house.
“Oh wait, Jo is able to come home tomorrow. I already talked to Steve and he’s okay with taking me to the hospital.”
“That’s great. If there’s anything we can do, let us know,” I respond.
“Nah, we’ll be good to go. The shop is closed tomorrow so I just plan on making sure she’s comfortable once she gets here.”
I lean into Linc and give him a hug, whispering thank you into his ear. Pulling away, he smiles back at me with a wink.
While on the porch, I watch as he goes back into the house, shutting the door behind him. Dault takes my hand in his as I unlock the knob and walk through the doorway.
Without pausing for a second, he moves us straight up the stairs and into my room.
Shutting the door with the back of his foot, he pulls me into him, crashing his lips into mine. With his body pressed firmly against me, I can feel his growing cock up against my belly.
This kiss isn’t soft and slow like before—it’s rushed, hard, and full of urgency. He lifts the hem of my shirt, breaking the kiss just long enough for him to pull it up and over my head. Our lips meet again and his tongue sweeps into my mouth. A moan escapes him as my fingertips take the bottom of his shirt in my hands. Standing on my tiptoes, I attempt to pull it over his head, his hat getting caught.
I let out a laugh as he helps me by removing his hat and taking his shirt off.
“Why do I feel like we’re rushing this?”
“Yeah, I’m feeling the same way. I just need to be with you, Etty, it’s been too long.”
Nodding my head, I run my fingers over his chest and down his abs.
With trembling hands, I unfasten the button of his jeans and slide them down his legs. Now on my knees, I shift his boxers down ‘til they fall to the ground.
Staring up at him through hooded eyes, I reach for his length, slowly stroking it in my hand.
His body bucks next to mine and his hands fall into my hair.
Moving forward, I pull him into my mouth, taking him as far as I can. Swirling my tongue along his pulsing vein, he pulls onto my hair and lets out a groan.
Feeling a bit of encouragement, I increase my speed, sucking, licking, and enjoying the man standing before me. With one hand stroking him into my mouth, I take the other and begin to massage his balls. I can feel them start to tighten and I suck him back in, pulling out slowly as I graze my teeth against his hardness.
Lost in the moment, I feel his hands move from the back of my head to beneath my arms. He lifts me to my feet and again crashes into me with a kiss. I can’t get enough of his skin against mine. He sucks my tongue into his mouth while running his hands along my back, unfastening my bra.
Pulling away from the kiss, he reaches his hands back into my hair, lifting it from my back and shoulders.
“You are so beautiful, Etty. I want to know that you’re mine today, tomorrow, and forever.”
“Yes, Dault, a million times yes. I want you so badly, please take me to bed.”
Together, we move toward the bed. Laying me down on the mattress, he pauses for a second.
“Wait,” he says.
“What?”
“Hold on,” he replies, positioning the pillows on the bed.
“Lie down on here like this,” he gestures with his arms. “I don’t want you putting pressure on your shoulder blades.”
Shaking my head, I laugh at his thoughtfulness.
“Get over here,” I say, pulling him down on the bed.
With him on his back, I straddle his hips with my legs.
“This will work, now I’m not the one on my back.”
I lean into him, gently licking his lips with my tongue.
“Wait,” he says again.
“You’re killing me, Dault,” I whine while he lifts me off of him and moves off the bed and toward the door.
Bending down, I watch as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out his wallet.
Ahh, the condom.
He rushes back to the bed and lies down next to me. I move back to straddle him, taking the condom wrapper in my hand. With my teeth, I open the foil package and slide it down onto his length.
“Now, Etty, I want you to ride me now.”
Leaning forward, I kiss his mouth while he guides himself to my wetness. I can feel the tip of him just touching the entrance to my aching pussy.
Slowly, I raise myself up with my hands on his chest, sliding him into my aching core. The feel of my walls surrounding him is pure ecstasy; I can’t describe it as anything but.
I start to swirl in a figure eight motion as he grabs on to my hips. Lifting me up and down, the sounds of sex echo through my bedroom. Continuing to pump himself in and out of me while I ride his thrusts, I throw my head back in pleasure. His thumb grazes my clit and a wave of bliss sends shockwaves from head to toe. He rubs at my nub until I can barely tak
e it any longer. I move his hand from my wetness and spin around to face the opposite direction. With my ass in the air, I slide back down onto him, feet planted next to his body. I push him in and out of me, squeezing him to increase the feeling of tightness along his cock. With a moan, he slaps my ass and encourages my speed. With this thumb, he touches my clit and begins to rub me raw. I can’t take it; the sensation of my orgasm is so close. While moving faster, he touches me right where I need it the most.
“Dault, come with me.”
“Let it go, baby, I’m right here with you.”
Thrusting myself down on him, I let everything go. I can feel the numbness take over and I begin to milk his cock with my clenching walls. Screaming out his name, we fall into our climax as one.
I want this, I want him, I want us.
Sliding off of him, I turn around and lie down next to him. He wraps his arm around me and kisses my forehead.
“Tonight was wonderful, Dault. Thank you for doing all of this for me.”
“I’ll always do what I can to make you happy, Etty. You’re my girl and I won’t stop ‘til I know you’re satisfied.”
With a giggle, I reply, “Oh, I’m satisfied right now.”
“Good, baby, now close your eyes and fall asleep. I want you in my arms all night, every night.”
His body shifts as he removes the condom, tying a knot to the end and tossing it to the floor.
Nuzzling into his chest, I close my eyes feeling grateful for the man lying beside me.
Chapter 25
One Week Later
Time flies when you’re having fun. Well, at least that’s the way I feel when I’m with Etty. The past week has come and gone so quickly, but I can’t forget every moment I spend with her. Between the shop, Linc’s therapy, and finding time with Etty, things are passing by in a blur.
I’ve stuck to my word and have woken up next to her every day since our first date. I won’t take a moment of what we have for granted.
Now that Jo’s back and out of the hospital, being over at Etty’s has its advantages for all of us. Things have been hard for both Linc and Jo, but knowing them like I do, they’ll fight through everything and come out stronger than ever.
Their relationship is such an inspiration to me; I want Etty and me to have what they have. Having her by my side has opened up so many possibilities I never thought were possible.
I’m happier now than I’ve ever been and I can already feel myself falling for this girl. She’s everything to me and I want to create a forever with her.
Tonight, we’ve decided to go out and celebrate the reunion of the Cursed Crew. We’re all meeting at the house and then heading out for dinner. It’s been a while since we’ve all be able to enjoy one another’s company, so what better way than to go out and have a good time?
Looking at the nightstand, the clock reads that it’s already four forty-five. Etty said she’d be ready and over here by five. I better get my ass in gear and get dressed.
Looking around the table, I see my friends, the ones that have been here for me the most. I feel like the luckiest man in the world. No more am I taking anyone for granted; these are my people and they all know how much they mean to me.
Something big is about to happen and I’m so glad to be a part of it. I look to Linc who’s sitting across from me, his arm wrapped around Jo. Etty squeezes onto my leg and I know it’s about time. Standing from the table, I look to Cliff, Steve, Ashley, Etty, Linc and Jo.
“I can’t express how happy I am that we’re all here together. A lot of shit has tried to take us down as a family, but hell, we just keep on fighting to get through it all. I want to propose a toast and let you know how grateful I am that you’ve been here for me. I may be an ass, but I’m the ass you love to hate.”
Etty smacks me on the leg and I look down at her with a wink.
“To the Cursed Crew,” I say, raising my glass.
“To the Cursed Crew,” everyone says in unison.
I take my seat and watch as Linc moves to stand.
“Dault, you are the corniest badass out there, but you know I love you and will always have your back. We wanted to get everyone together as a group, because…well shit, it’s been forever, but there’s something bigger I wanted you all to be a part of.”
My eyes steady on Linc as I watch his every move. Pushing his chair back, he kneels down next to Jo.
She lets out a gasp as he pulls a box out of his pocket and opens it in front of her.
“Jo, I thought I lost you once and then it almost happened to me again. I won’t ever let you out of my sight. You’re my one and only. The person I want to spend forever and a day with. No one makes me feel the way you do and I’d be forever grateful if you’d become my wife.”
Cheers surround the restaurant and then complete silence takes over while we wait for Jo’s response. Etty’s hand finds mine under the table, both of us filled with anticipation.
“Holy shit, Linc, yes….yes, of course I will marry you.”
He slides the ring onto her hand and they both move to their feet, embracing one another with a kiss.
“Okay, okay, this is a family place. Save the show for later,” I yell to them.
Moving from my seat, I walk to the other side of the table, congratulating them both. I love these two; they’re my family and I couldn’t be happier.
With a wide smile, Jo calls for everyone’s attention through the chaos.
“Hey guys, why don’t we all go back to the house and celebrate?”
Etty moves to her side and takes another look at the ring on Jo’s finger.
“You’re up next, Dault.”
“Yeah okay, not yet…one day.”
My girl looks at me with a smile and then turns to hug Jo.
It’ll happen, just not anytime soon. Etty and I just started to plant our feet in our relationship. I know she’s the one for me, but I want her to trust me one hundred percent before we move onto the next step.
Together, we walk out of the restaurant and into the parking lot.
“Hey, babe, I’m gonna ride with the guys so we can stop and pick up some stuff to celebrate. I’ll see you at the house.”
She leans into me and kisses my lips. I’ll never get over her sweetness and the way she tastes.
Hopping into Steve’s car, I wave as Linc, Jo, and Etty pull out and head home.
Watching out the window, I think about everything wonderful that has happened in the past two weeks. We’re all back together. Jo is healing, Linc’s kicking ass with his therapy, and the shop is thriving with the help of Steve, Cliff, and Ashley.
I glance to the front of the car as the light turns green. Steve hits the gas and we begin to crawl through the intersection.
“Watch out!” Cliff yells from the back seat.
Before I know what’s happening, I hear glass breaking and feel the impact of metal crushing into my side.
My world turns black…all I can see is her face.
I hear the crashing sound from outside the car window, and I spin around in my seat.
“Linc, stop the car!” I scream.
He slams on the brakes, my body flying forward against Jo’s seat. I can’t breathe. With trembling hands I try to open the door but I can’t.
“Linc, unlock the fucking door!”
“Etty, relax, stay put with Jo.”
“Hell no, unlock the goddamn door!”
The clicking sound of the lock registers in my brain and the three of us move to the accident.
“Call 911!” I shout back to Jo as I run toward the car.
Everything in front of me is a blur. Steve’s car is flipped on its side and a truck is crashed into a tree to the far right. Moving to see where everyone is, I can’t see, it’s too dark.
“Linc, help them, please.”
“Etty, get back. Jo’s on the phone with 911 and they’ll be here soon. You have to back off, you don’t know what we’re going to find.”
He
pulls me into his side, his body shaking.
I can feel myself going into shock. This can’t be happening.
After what feels like an eternity, the sirens begin to sound from down the road. Linc holds on tightly to both Jo and me as they rush out of the ambulance and to the scene.
“I want to go talk to them, stay here,” he says before running over to the police officers.
Jo latches onto me and we stand together, tears falling from our eyes.
“They’ll be okay,” she says, curling her arm around me.
“I can’t lose him, Jo, we finally found each other,” I mutter in between sobs.
“I know, sweetie.”
Linc runs back over to us, breathing heavily.
“Get in the car, we’re going to head on over to the hospital now. We don’t want to be here right now, there’s nothing we can do.”
“Linc, we can’t leave, I have to know he’s okay.”
“Etty, get in the fucking car now!”
“Lincoln, don’t do that to her. She’s just as upset about this as you are. Be fair.”
He turns to walk away from us. I know this is hard on everyone here, but we have to get through this together. We don’t know what going on, let alone what to expect.
“Come on, baby girl, we’re in this together. Don’t let him upset you, he’s feeling just as lost as you are. We’ll meet the ambulance at the hospital and you’ll be able to see him again.”
Sobs break through and the tears fall from my eyes as I follow Jo to the car. I need to see him; I have to know he’s okay.
I’m growing more impatient by the minute. It’s been two hours since we got here and all we know is that Dault was sent in for immediate surgery.
Linc was able to go upstairs and see Steve. Thankfully, everyone else is alright, well, not really, but not nearly as severe as my main concern…Dault.
“I can’t just sit here. I have to know what’s going on,” I say while starting to pace the short distance in front of the chairs.
“Etty, why don’t we go downstairs and get some air,” Jo says, moving to stand.
“No, it’s okay, you stay here. You should be trying to rest anyway; you just left this fucking place. I hate hospitals, they are hell on earth.”
