Dr. Drew can't believe that always smiling, Kate was so much hurt from the inside. She was so injured with her past wound and they are not healed after all these years.
“I faint out ... when I woke up ...I saw my grandpa he tell me that mom and dad gone for the business trip and I'm coming with him... my uncle call him to take me away from this environment”
“Grandpa used to email me as my dad, and I never asked him about my parents because I don't want to go back…I don’t want him to think that I miss my parent, when he died and Jake hold my hand I found something I been looking for a while… a friend who care about me, love me so I promise myself that I spend my life as a person Jake always proud of…I always keep him happy…keep my friendship” she end her story and take a sip then said
“You see Doc... death is not a problem for me... its living... the purpose of my living was Jake because I want to set an example. I like it when he said you are the best Ki, he make me feel I am good, make me forget who I was, I like it when people look at me with proud. He was the reason of me being good... he's gone Doc so as my purpose ... what ... what I do Doc ...” Kate said and moves toward his grave on her knees and start crying.
Dr. Drew takes her home as she faint out. He lay her on bed then look at her, thinking she can't waste her life like this, there was a thought in his mind and he smile.
It’s been a three month of Jake's death. Kate hasn’t changed a bit. Dr. Drew calls Max to change her mind.
She was sitting at gnome watching sunset, remembering that how many times she and Jake watch it together, her hair was flowing in air.
“Can I sit with you Kate” Kate turned as she saw it was Max
“Yeah” Kate said and turn her face .Max look at her then said
“What have you done to yourself Kate? Your friends have left for college... Alice also left, you get to go Harvard and you are still here”
Kate blinked at him then said “Jake's gone Max and my all things... Dreams...goals go with him, now there is nothing that I want to do with my life now”
Max hold her hand then said “do you think he'll be happy to see you like this ... killing yourself...suffering” Kate looked at him
“He suffers as people said because he found bad company ... he get disturb and I know he was my brother…my only brother, I know him better than anyone he was so nice… so good in his nature, I know someone distract him. He was... He was not like this” Max voice get heavy, his eyes fill with tears so as Kate.
“Kate you are like our family and dad is so disturbed because of you... I care about you like I care about Jake, and I would never see Jake like this. There is something you can do for him” Max told her after taking a deep breath, Kate get shocked and asked
“What Max... Tell me Max, I do everything for him” Max smiled and said
“If you can help someone like Jake... Change their life in to a better... give them a better life... Jake will be so happy... My brother will be happy Kate and I know... you can do it Kate. Please Kate for him…you need to this for Jake” Kate eyes were full of tears Max wipe her tears. Kate hugs him.
Kate was leaving for college. She have a purpose now, she understand that she can feel Jake alive if she help someone to have better life.
She prepared to go college but remember that she has to take some of Jake’s books with her.
Dr. Drew and his family were not home so she calls Dr. Drew to ask the permission to get in their house. Dr. Drew says “of course Kate you knew where the sphere key of house is?”
She closed the door and walks toward his home suddenly her phone ring she was surprise, because no one calls on her land line these days so she came inside her home and attend the phone but no one reply.
She look at phone then think “maybe someone is messing around” As she put the phone there was a blast her home window crushed down, the blast was in Jake’s home. She falls down.
She gets up too go outside; the glass of the window was all on her back. She opens the door and stand still for a moment in shock as she sees Jake’s house was burning.
There was big fire she tries to go inside the house, to get in Jake’s room and grab some of his belonging but someone grab her from her back she turn to see it was Mr. Dan Flaws.
He stops her. She cried; scream to let her go but Mr. Flaws hold her so strong. With her tearful eyes, she saw flames coming out of Jake’s room window burning everything in it.
Police told the cause of fire was gas leakage at their kitchen. Dr. Drew looks at Dan Flaws.
“I always lock my stove carefully” Mariana told the police in statement. The sheriff said the entire house burned down they can’t save anything and they won’t let Kate go inside.
Kate looked at Jake’s window. His room was fully burned as fire was so high there. She saw Mr. Dan Flaws and Dr. Drew talking about something. She don’t know how this all happen. The only place she can feel Jake was gone, now all of his belonging was gone too.

She was at Jake's grave to tell him goodbye she was on her knees then look around no one was there. She put her locket which Jake give her and buried in his grave and wear Jake's locket then said
“Now I found a purpose Jake and this locket always make me feel you are looking at me... Just don't forget me Jake please” Kate feels someone looking. She looks around but there was on one.
She stood up and move toward car where Max was standing, she look him and then smiled.
He smiled her back. She sits in car. As the car passing though the town, she saw every place where she went with Jake. She's leaving this place, where their friendship begins.....

As she was leave the town someone took that box out of the grave and leave. It was Marco Zac's man
“She leaves with your brother... Well they look so good together... See I told you she will forget you... Well everyone does... Now the thing you want” Zac said then through it towards someone.
It was big lavish room it was decorated with different kind of light placed at all the corners. Couches were placed at one corner they were every expansive. In one of them Zac was sitting. The room was so bright, at one corner all the training machines was set and someone was hitting on sandbag. There was big LCD TV on the front wall.
The locket was catch by Jake as he sat on a couch his hand covered with stripes as they were bleeding he was catching his breath. He was the one who was boxing. He’s looking at the necklace.
“Boss is really happy with me because of house burning idea…hope you don’t mind, I burn all your stuff” Zac’s said with cackles.
“Boss wants to know what you think about your new name... What do you want to call?” Emma asked as she enters in room.
She saw Jake looking at the TV as it show Kate photos of leaving the town, she knows that Jake hiding himself.
Jake remember that Kate told him once “you are not a beast Jake!!” he look at the necklace then said,
“BEAST”
