Barbara J. Wood, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Rosamond Young retired from teaching high-school English to become a columnist for the Dayton Daily News. She is author of fifteen published books, and, since her retirement as a staff columnist, continues to write a weekly column for her newspaper. She lives in a Lutheran retirement home in Dayton, Ohio, although she and her cat, Edith, are Episcopalians. Edith appears in two books by Mrs. Young. Pamela S. Zurer lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband, Burt, daughter, Rachel, and tabby cat, Peeps. A doctorate in chemistry, she works as an editor and reporter at Chemical & Engineering News, the weekly newsmagazine of the American Chemical Society. She enjoys bicycling, gardening and quilting.
