Dawn’s Dream has perished, though balance remains.
He knew it not, but he was not the vessel he thought himself to be. For but a moment he was. Now that burden is shared by all ferret-kind. Twilight too.
I am the past, a relic from the early years, split between two. My final days draw nigh. So do hers.
Such grief she has suffered with the passing of her friends. I have felt the same. A thousand times over.
It may ease when she returns home to Sumarana. Once my home too, long lost to time but for its name.
I shall meet her there. I long for eternal sleep. But the means to find it does not seem right…
